The Soprano Diaries was the funniest thing on SNL this season so far. I mean that was spot on.
And it was great seeing the return of the digital short. Not the best they've ever done, but still pretty good. It would be very cool if The Lonely Island kept contributing Digital Shorts from time to time.

They sure brought out some big guns for the monologue. I like it. SNL is at its best when it feels like any random celebrity who happens to be in New York might drop by for a random walk-on.

This week's episode was probably the GAYEST episode I have ever seen, and sadly with someone as hot as Adam Levine hosting, it was not in a good way.
I think half the sketches featured a 'gay/transgender/and/or ambiguous' character.
Most of them were offensive and one was hilarious.
Watching Adam Levine laser-focus on his cue-card reading so he wouldn't have to 'act' like he really was into Bobby Moynihan doing drag was more funny than the skit. Very uncomfortable probably for everyone involved as well as the viewers. Levine must have been grateful the writers didn't whip out an episode of the Vogelchecks.
From his public persona and the things he has said I have always thought of Adam Levine as being very comfortable with his sexuality but he seemed very guarded. He was much more comfortable in the earlier sketch playing a southern queen on the gay talk show with Keenan.
The closeted gay drama-queen fireman who screeched out every line was masterfully played by Bill Hader. Altho the skit itself was stupid I couldn't help laughing my ass off.
The Rosetta Stone Thailand sex skit was funny too.
The Maroon 5 bar fight against Train and Jason Mraz was incredibly bad.
I have no idea what Cameron Diaz is doing on this show or Jerry Seinfeld for that matter. Does Diaz think she is the female Justin Timberlake?
It just seems sad and desperate. Youre a $15 million female movie star and you have to show up to steal screen time from the poor cast members on a low rated sketch comedy show?
Highlight of the show was probably Adam Levine shirtless in hi-def which gave me a chance to check out his interesting tattoos.
Sopranos skit was a great idea but could have been done better.

This show was a lot better than last weeks trainwreck.
The Ray Lewis skit was funny and Hader as the gay fireman and they were spot on about Catfish and the line about I look like ET when he was dressed up as a woman lol.
"I am Neve"
Just wish they would get better musical guests.

Much better than last weeks show. Last week show has had to have been the WORSE SNL since the show began.

"Bryce" the fireman was easily the most annoying character that this show has ever had. You all seem to love it, so I'm sure we can look forward to Bill Hader shrieking every couple of weeks until he leaves the show.

I'm surprised there wasn't a 'who is kendrick lamar' post very early, unless of course everyone gave up and those that do watch out of pitty or don't give a shit

Are you for real? She had like 3 minutes of screen time. Random celebrity appearances are nothing new either.

It's always either some lame hip hop or pop shit(or something indie for the hipsters). But it makes sense, they want ratings so it's normal to want to go for the top of the charts.

I've seen the name pop up here and there but i had and still have no clue who that (c)rapper was. And yes SNL does need better musical guests!

A little controversy is brewing about whether SNL borrowed the fireman character.

Random celebrity appearances are fine but they are no longer random when they show up so often...
