That was solid. Great start to the new season. Good to have Stonebridge and Scott back together. Their banter is awesome.

to Scott getting laid within the lst half hour.

British Chick: "Don't you know a sympathy fuck when you've had one?"

Looks like Charles Dance from Game of Thrones is the main baddie this season.

Some really brutal kills and crazy combat scenes with Scott and Stonebridge and all those Somali soldiers.

I also wonder who that guy was that had Waabri's girlfriend killed after she gave him the triggers. That was a brutal scene.


Scott: "Do you think they know how hot they look in those uniforms?"

Stonebridge: "Of course, Women in the military are there to keep your permanent hard on."

to getting Richmond out in the field. Damn, Michelle Lukes looked smoking hot in the bikini. Why wasn't Stonebridge hitting that instead of Marshall last season?

at Scott's comment to Stonebridge about her..."I bet she rocks in the sack. " Who wants to bet that Scott and Richmond hook up by the finale?

Should be an interesting new dynamic with Dalton as the new Section 20 boss.

Gotta say I found this premiere pretty boring.
It could have been a really tight one hour episode but everything just draaaaagged

I don't think he got passed over as much as they promoted the other chick to take over the unit.

That whole scene where they were trying to get the people and the case to safety was awesome, especially with that helicopter and the machine guns.

It was 2 episodes edited together as one 95 minute episode. The cutoff point of the 1st episode was the combat scene against the Somalis when the camera had a wide angle pan of the city. They just edited out the closing credits of ep 1 and opening credits of ep 2.

I thought the pacing was fine. The 1st episode had to set the conflict up and get everyone back. Granted it didn't have the whole Die Hard in India set up from last season to start out, but they have already set up 2 arcs with the triggers and now the soldier who murdered Stonebridge's wife. Season 1 when all was said and done had probably 5 story arcs going.

I can't wait for the episode where Stonebridge asks Scott to help him get the guy who killed his wife. I'd hate to be that guy, especially since he doesn't know what kind of Hell he's gonna be in. And yes, I know he's also a highly trained soldier, but still. I also thought it was a little out there when they mentioned Scott working for the CIA. If that was true, why wouldn't he use their help in figuring out why he was set up in Delta? Anyway, top notch show. Can't wait for the next episode!

Great season premiere! Everything I loved about last season is back and better than ever.

I still find it hilarious that they have an American playing a British guy and an Australian playing an American.

Love the storyline setups with Charles Dance and the guy killing Stonebridge's wife.

Wasn't he already running it? And I think he outranks her as he was a major first.

Yes. But with her, they had someone who would answer to the general and they could control, rather than someone who has shown to go rogue occasionally. Basically she is a yes man, so to speak.

I forgot to mention and I think it's been casually mentioned here, but wasn't there an open storyline left from last season on who set up Scott and how he got kicked off Delta Force?

Dalton kind of mentioned it when she said she knew of Scott's past.

I do find that hilarious, but in the end it worked out. I can't imagine any other actor playing Scott. Sullivan Stapleton is very charismatic and really sells the bad boy oversexed hero.

We did not get resolution. That's why Scott joined the team initially, but that sort of faded as the episodes went on, since they never really addressed it.

Anyone think Michelle Lukes looks like an older Cassie Steele? I thought so last year, but now that I'm watching the LA Complex, its more apparent.

He was part of The Trojan Horse conspiracy and it was brought to light that Col Grant was aware of and actually participated in his being discharged to get the ball rolling on capturing latif. In the blue file that he burns there is a page that shows his name and course of action (dishonorable Discharge) and it saying approved. That's why Grant was apologizing to Scott before killing herself. Also, Scott showed the file to stonebridge and then burned the file in the last episode to cover col grants involvement. The blue file is the same one Col grant tried to give to scott at his hotel room.
