Sometimes it will give get fans to vote more. Unless she messes up next week, I don't think she'll be in the bottom 3.

If 2 people go home next week Jessica will be safe. Jessica will most likely get the pimp spot at the end of next weeks performance show, and her fans will vote more to keep her safe.

Or if you look at the show like i do, the producers will give her the pimp slot to "build tension" throughout the show ("and later Jessica will fight for her life after nearly being eliminated") even though it wont matter because the producers wont let Jessica go home because that would of made "The Save" pointless and they cant have that.

Honestly i don't actually believe Jessica got the lowest amount of votes. Every year they always give us a "shocking elimination" midway through the live shows to get people talking, and hopefully improve their dropping ratings.

And yes i realize i have become very cynical about this show.

A little surprised that Jessica was in the bottom 3, but was not surprised at all that the judges used the save.

The whole sequence with Randy, J-Lo, and Steven stopping her in the middle of singing did seem a little suspicious & manufactured. Fucking Steven spoiled the whole damn thing by saying they were going to use it.

I like Jessica. I think she's the most marketable among the girls left for a wider audience. She can sing the Pop songs that get Top 40 radio airplay, which Idol thrives on. She can also sing R&B/Urban songs that can appeal to that demographic as well.

I can handle everyone on this show except for Hollie and Phillip. Hollie for obvious reasons and Phillip because he's another 'good ole american boy' who sings with a shitty mumbly underbite, has no range, can't sing in tune, and sounds like every other Tuesday night, bad rock bar singer. It's all Eddie Vedder's fault.

they are almost guaranteed to give Jessica the pimp slot. They might force Hollie to sing back to back. They are trying to get Colton/Jessica in the finals but I think it probably will be P2 and Colton since they are the only two to never hit bottom 3.

At this point I don't see Jessica Sanchez in the finals, I don't even see her in the Top 3.

She is a good singer but doesn't have any charisma and doesn't appeal to any voting demographic that I can think of.

I see the Top 4 as: Phillip Phillips, Skylar Laine, Joshua Ledet, and Jessica Sanchez
Jessica will be voted off first, then Joshua. Yes, I'm calling for a Skylar Laine and Phillip Phillips finale, with Phillip Phillips winning it. Skylar will make it to the finals because she is a good entertainer (moves around on the stage and is cute) and sings country music. Phillip will win because he is a white guy with guitar, or WGWG in American Idol lingo.
