I thought this was a really good one. Annie was great.
...but as usual Chevy Chase was the best part of the episode.

"I'm going to need some help reacting to this."
And now I wanna watch Blade.

So, are we to assume that Troy is in love with Britta and he actually texted his true feelings to her, knowing it would be a turn off? He seemed pretty upset through that whole sequence.

No, he definitely has feelings for Britta, they've touched on it a few times before. Too bad they didn't reveal what the message was.
Really good episode.

Good episode, though the Pierce Chang stuff was predictably weak.
"You're the opposites of Batman!"
"You don't know what that means!"

Just want to see if I'm crazy or not, but did anyone else notice that it seemed like Britta and Annie had a ton of makeup on in the beginning. I know they need some for lighting but it seemed pretty think and I noticed it on Jeff as well.
Might have just been how I was laying on the couch, but thought I'd ask.

NBC apparently likes to use their actors on other shows. After the Parks & Rec sewage guy on Community I caught a bit of Real Neil with the Pipes of Steel (Fat Neil if you prefer) on Awake.

Loved the Annie and Britta banter in this episode.
Britta was pretty pathetic, but I loved the whole texting back and forth and Annie answering the phone a few times as Blade.
So Dean Pelton has no friends, can't run a JC to save his life and is an in the closet homosexual in love with the show's lead. Boy, Jim Rash must love playing this character every week.

What a great episode. The line about Britta being born in the 80s had me rolling. And oh yeah, Annie's cleavage was absolutely on fire!

This was imo one of the best "normal" episodes of the series.

There were some great quotes in this one! Most have already been mentioned, but I loved:
"I need help reacting to something"
"Annie, subdue your guest"
"You're the opposite of Batman!" "You don't know what that means!"
and
"She was born in the 80's! She still uses her phone as a phone!"
Also, I wish they had shown what Troy had typed. I imagine it was his actual feelings for Britta, maybe?

Seeing those cleavage pics is bringing back some lingering bitterness that I missed out on getting to see Alison Brie perform a couple of weekends back...
Loved seeing the Britta/Annie scenes. Ever since the Chevy/Dan Harmon news came out, I have a hard time enjoying Pierce's scenes now.

This show was leaving me cold for a few episodes, but it has really redeemed itself to me in the last couple of weeks.
"She was born in the 80's! She still uses her phone as a phone!" - That line killed me!
