BTW... Received a Best Buy advertising email for "$10 gift card with 3 Blu-rays" which had a link near the top stating "Enjoy a Movie on Us"...
Out of curiosity, I clicked and got a link to code to use on CinemaNow for a freemovie rental Standard Def Purchase...

^ Good catch. I had received the e-mail and deleted it without looking at it too closely. At a glance, I thought the streaming movie offer was available if you purchased 3 BDs.

They did this with an email they sent out a few weeks ago as well. It pays to open them, I guess. Now I have a couple of free movies.
Protip: If you plan on ever watching these through your PS3, save yourself the hassle and don't buy the movie using your best buy login. Just create a new account through the cinemanow site. The app on the PS3 only lets you login with a cinemanow account. The best buy account is an email address and there's no option to enter a non-alphanumeric character like '@' or '.'
Despite what it says on the cinemanow website, there is no way to link the two accounts so movies from your film libraries are combines.
If you do end up buying stuff on the best buy account, you'll have to register the account online, using the best buy link and not the cinemanow online registration link, when you start the app.
If you have movies on both accounts and want to watch them on a PS3, have fun with registering whatever account you want to use at the time.

Interesting.... I have an account w/o a CC and I was able to watch the movie no issue.. I wonder if it is because I am streaming via my BD player vs watching on PC....

Who are the emails from? I don't see anything with a code, but I'll do a search in my mailbox. I got one email with a subject of "New Movie Tuesday: Moneyball & Warrior" but I don't see any code in it...

They're in the regular Best Buy emails that get sent out. If the email offers it, it's about halfway in. It's a small box that says something about getting a free movie on us.

^ Thanks. It appears that I'm not on that best buy mailing list. I get emails relating to my RZ account, and Deal of the Day emails, but not regular emails... However, I discovered they are doing the Free Movie for 8 days on Facebook again. Not sure if that is the same deal from your email, or different, but at least I got in on that...
