Resistance 3 WON'T allow me to activate "3D TV" Option! Any help??

HELP! I can NOT get the 'View in 3D' option to work in Resistance 3D!

I can get every other option to work except "PS3 Move" b/c I don't own a Sony Camera. So 'Controls', 'Audio', 'Visual' all work.... BUT the "3D TV" is grayed out! When I open it and hit 'X' to select, it won't do anything.

Can someone help me out here?

Equipment Used
Samsung 46" Model 4620 (got it 5 days ago)
Samsung 3D Active Glasses SSG 3100GB
Resistance 3 updated with the "DAY 1" patch
PS3 is about 3 years old, but is fully patch with the latest software updates

The glasses are PAIRED to TV

The TV is set to 3D Mode

(It has 3 different "3D setting".. the first one labeled "2D to 3D" is the ONLY option that makes the screen legible.) The other 2 option "Side by Side" and "Top to Bottom" make the screen totally illegible in 3D or Regular Mode

HELP! Thanks ahead of time guys...

This totally deserved it's own thread. Especially after you posted the exact thing in the actual game thread.

I had the same issue on my Samsung and couldn't find help anywhere, do the following steps below and you should be ready to go I just got mine activated doing this about 5 minutes ago.

1)Turn on your PlayStation 3 and go into Settings -> System Update. Download the latest 3.530 update.
Go into Settings -> Display Settings -> Video Output Settings. Start a new search.
2)PS3 now tell you that your TV supports 1080p. Click again, and PlayStation 3 tell you that your TV supports 3D. Adjust the size of the TV.

Oh my Lord! It worked perfectly Betuccio! With things like this where you are so frustrated you go into every new possibility thinking to yourself "This isn't going to work... again". Well damned if it didn't! It was nearly instantanious! AND on top of that I tried the other 2 "3-D Modes" on the Samsung menu (Side by Side, and Top and Bottom". Before they just looked lik a bad LSD trip or something. This was awesome! You probably have no idea just how much frustraton you saved me! I like when peoplereply back to thiese threads to let us know if it was sucseessful of not.

I seriously owe ya one Bertucci! Check your personal posts, I left ya my contac info in there.

Annnddd... Tarantino. There's nothing like a fresh hot cup of "SARCASM" in the morning, to get ya moving" Thanks for that )

I seriously owe ya one Bertucci! I have got background in a lot of different stuff. History, Vintage Toys, Collectables, and plenty of other stuff. Lol (Any other time I could rattle off about 8-10 things, but that I AM TRYING to think of them, I have a brain fart. LOL)

Thank you again VERY MUCH!

Bertucci182 - Scratch that for the moment. The system has no "Personal" or "Contact" info listed for you. I did however hit the "befriend" request. So when you get it send me a personal message and I'll contact you with my contact info.

I am also on AIM > Spitfire7719 (I have to have YOUR name listed on my AIM Buddy list for you to see me though

I ALSO see this was your very first post! WELCOME ABOARD!

If only you knew what he looked like... you might see him on the streets and exact some revenge... if only.

Glad you got your 3D working. I don't know about you, but I never use it for gaming. It's cool in concept but it destroys my eyesight in 15 minutes or less.

Hey Rob V

I dont understand your post, but am glad you chimed in and really glad to see your from MI!

So, are you in the U of M club or a State fan? I'm partial to U of M myself! God I miss Michigan! Do you think Detroit is a "tougher" city than NYC? Well.... actually in terms of 'Dangerous' and 'hard core', Philly should be on that list. We got the highest murder rate like 3 years running! Go Philly! Now all I need is for them to bring home a Stanley Cup, and I'll be forever content!

I wouldn't recommend that. Apparently over 42 in a row is deadly...

That's only if you jerk it. No one has proved that 42 blowjobs in a row are in any way detrimental to your health... yet.

Just started this game over the weekend and it's kinda hard going back to a last generation game stretched out on a projector. But overall it's pretty fun, not sure why I waited so long to play it.

Why did you decide to play it just now?

Not sure. I have about a dozen PS3 games in my backlog, and this was one of them.
