its a must have, IMHO. its a goofy bank robber picture that turns into a drive-in vampire horror movie. Great cast(showcases Clooney as a movie star) , good effects ,good direction and GREAT bonus materials. Be sure to listen to the commentary and watch the documentary Full Tilt boogie that is included with the disc. And damn, the movie is just a lot of fun.
o yeah , salma hyek plays a stripper who dances with a large snake....nice! worth the price alone!

From Dusk Till Dawn is a excellent vampire movie, and it's a great ride from the beginning to the end. From Dusk Till Dawn is a cut above for the following reasons: The cast is perfect, the characters actaully aren't worn out horror movie steriotypes, the story is a little more complex than the average gore fest, and the soundtrack is excellent. Be warned, this is a extremly gory and violent film. The film really has two seperate story lines, at the start it seems like a great hostage drama. Then the movie becomes a vampire nightmare, it was a middle of the film shift I loved. I highly recommend this movie, it is well worth a purchase. The dvd comes in a regular version and a collectors edition. Don't even think about buying the regular edition, the 2 disk special edition is outstanding. The Special Edition's transfer is very good, the images seem alive and the colors are perfect. The audio is outstanding, with all of the special effects sounds making use of the rear channels. The dialogue is easy to understand even over the gunfire, screams, and the heavy soundtrack. The base is a little heavy at times, but not enough to be distracting. The dvd is loaded with extras. Commentary with Tarantino and Rodriguez, Outakes, featurette, trailer, tv spots, music videos, still gallery, a second commentary, deleted scenes, and cast and crew. The second disk has the film "Full Tilt Boogie", a feature length "making of" which is a blast to watch. Out of five stars:
