The disc contents are the same as the first thinpak (with the exception of the movie / and not listed by you). They both are 8-disc releases with the movie. The Grand Canon Collection is a chipboard boxset with thinpaks. The most recent collection contains 2 STACKpaks with an open-ended sleeve.

I think i will pass on the deal. I freaking dont like STACKpaks (Moribito was enough for me :/).
