I don't blame someone for throwing their New CD at someone its so boring. But I was turned on by Neko talking trash like that. If you get a chance to see her, see her solo, she isWAY better. She always interacts a shit load with the audience & if you've been following her for years this is nothing new for her, she has a rep for getting pretty drunk after shows and raising hell backstage & teamed with Bejar (a known alcoholic & awful in concert) its amazing how mellow the New Pornos are live. Ace keeps them all in line.

I'd have gone all "Axl" on that person who threw the CD...you know, jump into the crowd, fight your way to them, then SERIOUS smackdown time. Anyone who throws a CD at me, whether I'm onstage or not, better fucking disable me with it.
I'd be simultaneously offended both as a human (being assaulted with a CD) and as an artist (being assaulted with MY CD).

I was speaking from the POV of a musician who has been onstage when someone decides to be a wise-ass and throw something onto the stage. I've had to break heads after a gig to get paid (and, OOOHHH how I got paid); stopping anyone from hurling projectiles would easily be worthy of it, too.

I like concerts where the band jokes around and tells stories. One of my favorite musicians, Stuart Davis, does really good, really entertaining music, but the random asides he talks about while tuning up his guitar for the next song are absolutely hilarious and make the show.
