There have only been two games that I will never forget. Zelda 64, and Metal Gear Solid. MGS is simply awesome.

No unforgetable games on PSX or Dreamcast? I'd say Tekken 2, FF VII, Brave Fencer Musashi, Ridge Racer, Resident Evil 1 and 2, and Metal Gear Solid on PSX were classics. I'd also say Shenmue, Soul Calibur, Crazy Taxi, Sonic Adventure, and Grandia 2 will last in my mind for quite awhile as well. There are many others on both those systems.

As far as older games go, here's some of my picks on various systems:
Pitfall 1 and 2
Indy 500
Xevious
Chronotrigger
River Raid
Super Star Wars series
Sonic CD
Samurai Spirits
Karnov
Contra
many more...

Amen! Have you seen a release date yet for the new MGS on PSX2? I keep reading about it in every PSX magazine. It looks incredible, but can't remember if it's suppossed to be out anytime soon.

Here you go ... http://ps2.ign.com/previews/14538.html

Fall 2001

As for my unforgetable games

Civ 2
FF7
FF8
FF9 (haven't finished, but I know it will be)
Chrono Cross

I just can't see a sports game being "unforgetable". And I love sports and sports games.

Many unforgetable games, many. One, however, eclipses them all.
DOOM: custom playstation edition

Nothing was ever the same again...
