Hey, I know we don't normally make threads for Downloadable-only games, but I just played the first level on the XO via EA Access and let me tell you, it's pretty special. Well worth checking out the demo at least. The game looks AMAZING -- photo-realistic. The music is pleasant. The puzzle mechanic is pretty unique and fun. The main character has tons of charm. I'm really impressed.

Honestly, we should make more threads for some of these downloadable games. To be honest, Xbox One (or PS4) downloadable titles don't even have their own thread (it would be just buried in the main console thread). I just picked up a new one this week, Fortified for XB1 and its actually really fun (and I usually hate tower defense games).
Anyway, yeah Unravel looks fantastic, might be worth picking up. I wonder why with all of the polish, EA wouldn't consider a physical (albeit budget) release. I think they would sell a lot of copies to the younger crowd if nothing else.

This (and The Witness) are two games I'll be buying ASAP when I get my consoles back next week. This one reminds me of Limbo, but obviously photo-realistic. Very cool.

I saw that a few missions or something of this were free to try on EA Access/Origin Access or something. This looked neat, I wanted to try it.

Yeah. You can play the first two levels (for up to 10 hours total) with EA Access. It might take me that long to beat the second level, The Sea. For a yarn person, Yarny seems to drown surprisingly quickly (something else the game has in common with Limbo, actually).

This is a good month or so run for games that are right up my alley. This, Firewatch, Oxenfree,The Witness. I'm in heaven.

Finished it up today. Great game and I definitely want to jump back in and get all the collectibles I missed. It's nowhere near on the level of Limbo which it is pretty obviously influenced by but it's a fun platformer in its own right.

My God is this a fantastic little game. It's charming, beautiful, and the music is soothing. I'm actually a little ashamed that I waited until it was $5, because it's worth more than that. This would easily make my top 10 of the year.

Is that $5 price on XBox? Looks like it's $20 on PSN...

It's available through EA Access. You don't need to buy it at all.

Finally started playing this again from where I left off ... It really is beautiful, but not very exciting. Still enjoying it, though. Didn't realize
