What are you playing? (January 2016)
Happy New Year!
I'm going back to some games I've been meaning to finish:
Red Dead Redemption (360). Going to focus on doing the main story and try not to get sucked into hunting

i'm torn. i really want to finish Halo 4 before going on to Guardians because i've played all them in order, but i am having a hard time getting through. not the difficulty, just the lack of interest or something. i dunno, so conflicted...

Happy New Year! I built up a good back log to keep me going the next 3 months until Quantum Break and Uncharted 4.
Currently Playing:
Uncharted Collection (PS4)
NBA 2K16 - (XB1)
Forza Horizon 2 - (XB1)
Fallout 4 - (PC)
After I finish Drake's Fortune i'll probably take a break and either start Bloodborne or start one of the smaller games I picked up like Shovel Knight or Everybody's Gone to the Rapture.

Mario Tennis Ultra Smash for the Wii U. The characters aren't balanced enough for my tastes but the online play is pretty fun. Doubles online is far more fun than singles.

Won an Xbox One from the Christmas raffle at work. It came with Gears of War Ultimate edition.

Finished God of War III remastered (PS4) today. Now working on Uncharted Collection (PS4), starting from the beginning. Currently on Chapter 5 on Drakes Fortune.

The campaign for 5 is worse than 4, so good luck!

I just finaihed Fallout 4 and Tomb Raider: RotG. I got Metal Gear Solid Phantom Pain for Christmas and just started it. It hasn't really hooked me yet though after the fucked up prolog and 6 missions into the campaign. I'll give it a few more missions but I may go back to Witcher 3.

Playing through The Order: 1886 on the PS4.
Decent game, definitely happy I waited until I could grab it for $15 to play it though due to it's perceived length and (to me) lack of replayability. Amazing graphics though.

I'm still holding off on it cause it just seems like a game that will end up as a free game on PS Plus.

(All Xbox One since the Xbox 360 up and died...well it powers up but it freezes when I try to play any game for more than about a minute...so everything is moved over to the external and an old work friend is probably going to sell me his in a week or two):
Tales from the Borderlands - Finished the first two episodes, absolutely loving it so far. On to #3.
Gears of War: Ultimate Edition - I haven't played a pure shooter this much since the Rainbow Six Vegas days. Really well done though even if I have to play on casual in the single player. I absolutely suck in multiplayer, but so did I in RSV. A lot of fun though.
Gems of War - The I'm bored game, and I need something to do for 5 minutes. Level 37, I'll get to level 50 fairly soon, but level 100 (last achievement) will take sometime.

Finally playing this after barely starting it on 360 years ago. Good game, and the updated version looks great, but I hate how damn dark it is. Half the time when I'm getting killed, I have no idea why. Probably a one-and-done for me.

Re: What are you playing? (January 2016)
Yeah, it's been out for more than 9 months. When I started it, I just couldn't get into it. Not so much the difficulty, but not being able to figure out exactly how to play, how it's system worked but my biggest barrier was mostly it's punishing load times.
Well, the load times have long since been patched, which makes such a difference, it cannot be overstated. Also, I figured out how to level up and grind, which made the game much more rewarding.
So now, like everyone else who gets over the initial hurdle, I'm completely obsessed with the game and can't stop playing.
Good thing there's no major releases soon, since I'm gonna be balls-deep in Bloodborne for a while.
