As it has been every year, you will have to unlock a lot of these characters through the Showcase or My Career modes unless you spend the 3 bucks to buy the Excelerator pack to unlock everything upfront. It will mostly be Legends and Nxt guys that would be locked from the start if 2k repeats what they did last year.

I don't mind unlocking wrestlers though as it gives a good incentive to play the story modes.

Have to agree that the graphics really are lacking.

And are there really people excited about The New Day? I tried hard to get back into wrestling and watched it for about a year, but I would always fast forward through anything involving those guys. There is just such a lack of good characters in WWE that I am amazed it stays so popular.

Yeah I mean that trailer looks fun but the graphics just don't seem up to par. The arenas and rings and whatnot look okay but the wrestlers themselves just don't look very good. Also as big of a Terminator/Schwarzenegger I am having the T-800s in the game feels too gimmicky and silly to me. I think the novelty of using them will wear off fast.

Is this not coming out on ps3? I just got back into gaming a year ago when I got a good deal on a ps3 and since there are a ton of games out there I've never played, I see no reason to upgrade while the price is so high.

The last gen systems (360 & ps3) are getting watered down versions of this game. The cool features like My Career mode wont be for Ps4 and XBox One.

I don't have a ps4 so I'm not sure how those prices sit among other ps4 games, but those dlc prices are pretty steep.

Yeah, this micro transaction DLC system is complete bullshit. The sad thing is that it's not going to change as long as people keep buying those season passes.
