A very large portion of Uncharted 3's file size was the multiplayer, which isn't included in the Collection.

So did anyone end up getting this? I'm not expecting the first one to look that great, but I'm curious how the other two look.

Looks pretty good for a old game. Controls are smooth. I like it. Crushing is still tough. Looking forward to trying on brutal

I have it but I haven't been able to start it yet. I'm busy at work, along with playoff baseball, NFL games and the start of fall TV, I don't have time to play any games.

Started playing Drake's Fortune after getting this with my PS4 bundle. I don't remember the controls being so "floaty" and I instantly remember how much I disliked the shooting in the first game. Playing Rise of the Tomb Raider recently probably doesn't help which has the fortune of years of refinement. I also forgot about the weird camera angle changes that I don't care for.
That said, nice to revisit Nate in these games again. Some of the environments still look pretty darn good.

I still haven't played this. Got the physical copy with my PS4 and I intend to play it but I just don't have time to sit down and play through a whole trilogy like this.

Yeah, my plan is to play the first game and then take a break and play something else before going back to #2.

Making my way through these. The games still hold up remarkably well and are still a lot of fun. But man, I forgot how many enemies they throw at you. And it's not that they're hard, there's just so many of them, that it becomes annoying. Honestly, the games would improve tenfold if they cut down the number of enemies by half. Absolutely nothing would be lost and the games would be more enjoyable. It also doesn't make sense that there are so many of these goons in these remote locations.

...especially in III, where you'll be flanked by two guys with rocket launchers, have a brute stomping towards you with a shotgun, four snipers' sights lighting you up, and then there'll be twenty regular dudes plugging away at you with machine guns and throwing a grenade your way every 15 seconds. With those handful of really extreme difficulty spikes, it doesn't seem as if nearly as much thought or consideration went into the encounters the third time around.

The funny thing with these games for me is always how Nate has to go through all this crazy stuff leaping, jumping, and climbing all over just to get to a particular location, only to find a flood of enemies already there just chilling.

Yeah, sometimes, the locations are so remote that I'm surprised when I run into thugs, and I'm all "how in the fuck could they have gotten here!"
No, it's always the same number of enemies, difficulty just affects how much damage you and your enemies take before dying.

It is why I never finished 3. I am about to start 1 and 2 again on crushing for the ps4 so I can pick up two easy plat's, but I might not even play 3. The combat is beyond frustrating even on normal difficulty. Nothing you can't get through but you always feel like something is off. The changes to the hand to hand combat, combined with the suicidal charging of you is never fun. As well balanced as the combat on Last of Us was, I really hope they rethink the way they populate levels. (I have always thought of these games as just average games with amazing production)

The Digital version is on sale for $28.75 in the PSN Store. Less than $10 each is a pretty good deal.

It's been slowly dropping in price. It's currently $27.99 on Amazon (or $23.54 for a like new condition in the Amazon Warehouse). I think I'm still holding out for $20 since I've already finished them all on PS3.

If you can get Target to price match Amazon(they should) and allow the preorder promotion that they are running this week(YMMV), it would be 30% off of $28 plus $1 for the preorder. Final cost would be $20.59 plus tax.

Got my plat on the first one and half way into Uncharted 2. I have to say the 60 fps really help with the aiming in this game. I don't have any problems at all setting up headshots, and on the ps3 I would always over aim.
I might actually play and finish Uncharted 3 finally.
