Waste of time. It be better off if they would just can it and release the three Batman 360 titles on BC. But I know better than to ask for common sense.

The Arkham games always seem to run into some last minute troubles. First the LE Batmobile edition, then the PC release of Arkham Knight and now this.

Maybe they're planning on releasing it closer to the holidays, around the time Suicide Squad will hit home-video.

Hopefully it's to add Arkham Origins but I'm not counting on it.

I would think that's actually quite likely. Have that added and release it closer to the holidays.

That'd be an ugly transition in gameplay. Rocksteady grew w/ AC in the gameplay. Montreal had the playbook shifted but they suffered in the little details. Particularly the fighting, was slower in timing and not a lot of new in it either. And the crashing. Jesus... my 360 game freeze a lot more than I could ever tolerate. Origins had a plot that was mostly cool but the execution of the gameplay was just copies of the past and pointlessness. The boss fights themselves were just not original.

Shiva and Deadshot's boss fights aren't even legitimate boss fights they're just normal as fuck fight encounters by now. For all the ways the game hypes up the Assassins... it doesn't make a good product from them. Shit. Even the DLC repeats Freeze's boss fight. Boring. Love that they used TAS' origin for Freeze but still...

Deathstroke's was fun though. Not too challenging but fun. If you ever got good w/ the fight gameplay in the series... Wilson's fight wasn't that hard to do.

The Electrocutioner's boss fight was the best. Classic.

The layout of the world, the graphics were somehow weaker than AC's, etc. All in the details of it. I enjoy playing it cuz of the story but it's a lot of little details that hurt it in the long run.

I didn't notice any significant changes in Origins game play versus the others, hardly enough to consider any sort of transition needed between games.

I still think Arkham Origins gets more hate than it deserves. It's not the best game in the series but it's playable and has a decent storyline.

I agree. I think Origins big problem (outside of the technical ones) is it felt more like an expansion pack (the old style PC type from the late 90s/early 2000s) moreso than an full entry into the series. But I prefer Origins' story to City's, and if I had to pick one to play again I would pick Origins over City. I absolutely loathed the Deadshot fight, but really liked everything else.

The game does get a bit easy in the end thanks to the electric gauntlets, tho.

I agree with all the points that you made. Particularly that the game doesn't feel like a new game but more like an expansion of Arkham City. I guess that can be viewed as good or bad. Its good because it uses the same basic engine and provides a new story and whatnot but it also didn't really add anything new gameplay wise. Plus I know some people experienced glitching with it. I really don't remember having a lot of technical issues personally.

Rumors say November, if not next year, because of frame rate issues.

New release date for this is October 18th. Comes out the day after my birthday so I'll probably pick it up. Still wish that it included Arkham Origins though.

Looks really nice but doesn't seem to add anything to the actual gameplay. If this ever gets to $20 I may pick it up.

IGN gave it a 7.0. Said its two great games in an uninspired remaster. I will pick it up when the rice drops to a cheap level. Already have the PS3 games.

I don't really have any interest in playing this again. But I might get it when it's $20.

I still need to play through Orgins. That is the only one I haven't finished yet.

I don't understand how anyone would go through the trouble of remastering these games for the Current Gen, but make it run at 30fps instead of 60??

That seems like a rather arbitrary deciding factor. Do you usually time your video game purchases to the Commodities Market?
