So..the daily made me use Gina...a character I don't use. She has a skill that lets you use a gesture and do damage. I figured it out toward the end...

That raid mode looks more fun than the actual game

Capcom should be paying you to promote cause now i want that game

In the first one the story was good, but I put countless hours into Raid mode. It has a perfect combination of arcade style action with RPG type elements (character leveling, buying and selling weapons).

Countdown (time attack) mode done on episode 2. So much fun. I am not looking forward to invisible mode though, since the boss fights are going to be much harder than episode 1. (which had none lol)

I keep pimping this game, but my god is it amazing.

So what's the difference between picking up the season pass online or getting the retail version for $40?

Re: Resident Evil Revelations 2: $5.99 gets you more value than $60

Besides the separate episodes, the "Complete Season" can be purchased or the "Retail Package" can be purchased at conclusion of the season when Episode 4 releases.

Episodes 1, 2, 3 and 4 are available separately, a week apart.
Extra Episodes 1 and 2 are exclusive to the Complete Season and Retail Package
Raid Mode is will be offered, with missions added depending on how many episodes you own

There are additional pieces of content that will only be usable by those who purchase the complete season and/or the retail package.

Playable HUNK in Raid Mode is exclusive to purchasers of the Complete Season and Retail Package
Playable Wesker in Raid Mode is exclusive to purchasers of the Retail Package.
"Throwback" Raid Mode Map Pack is exclusive to purchasers of the Retail Package.
4 Alternate Costumes are exclusive to purchasers of the Retail Package

Playstation players please note - the Platinum trophy will only be obtainable by those who purchase the four base episodes.
from neogaf it looks like the Wesker Raid Mode skin, an extra Raid Mode map, and 4 alternate costumes. I'm leaning towards the retail version at BB for $31.99 after GCU discount.

Finished invisible mode on episode 2. Now that was a challenge. This game is easily the biggest surprise in a LONG time.

Re: Resident Evil Revelations 2: $5.99 gets you more value than $60

another week and another great episode. Overall Episode 3 took me 3 hours to beat, the longest yet. Claire's episode was fantastic, but Barry's was a little weak. Overall another great buy though.

Re: Resident Evil Revelations 2: $5.99 gets you more value than $60

final episode is out today, and the disc version is available.

This is easily my favorite game in a long time. Residentevil.net is up and it turns out I have already put 65 hours into this, with the final episode still to go.

I should have my platinum on this by the end of the week.

I'm a bit behind as I just finished the second episode, which was great. Looking forward to three and four.

Re: Resident Evil Revelations 2: $5.99 gets you more value than $60

RESIDENT EVIL REVELATIONS 2 ADDS TWO BONUS EPISODES

Capcom has confirmed the two bonus episodes of Resident Evil Revelations 2 will be available alongside the release of Episode 4 and the disc version of the game.

Those who've bought the complete season or pick up a boxed copy will gain access to the extra episodes automatically. The bonus episodes will also be available to purchase and download individually, though Capcom has yet to reveal their prices.

The episode "The Struggle" is focused on Moira, while "Little Miss" shines the spotlight on the game's other new main character, Natalia.

According to Capcom, in "The Struggle," "Moira fights to survive the horrors of the island with the help of an old hand," while in the "Little Miss" episode, Natalia "awakens face-to-face with another version of herself."

Our review of Episode 4 noted the two bonus episodes present "nice little compact stories" as an addendum to the main plot. As for the concluding episode itself, it "does a satisfactory job at tying up Resident Evil Revelations 2’s mysteries, yet it also presents us with the clunkiest gameplay and dialogue we’ve seen in this series."

Re: Resident Evil Revelations 2: $5.99 gets you more value than $60

I finished this...amazing game. Amazing value...

Just did invisible mode on episode 4 and that was one hell of a rush. I had 1 bullet left on the boss...All I have left is one trophy for countdown and I got my platinum. (edit and now I got my platinum)

If you liked any of the past resident evil games pick this up.

If you just want to play the SP one time on normal, it should take you about 9 hours. Double that if you want to try the invisible mode and double that again if you want all the medals and countdown mode.

Raid mode is as much time as you want as it is a dungeon crawler type mode that can take 5 to 500 hours depending how much you want to put into it.

After just starting the first half of Episode 1, I can tell it's gonna be real good and creepy.

I am glad someone else is enjoying it...do you have any plans to try out invisible mode?

As I think about it, this is probably my second favorite game this year behind Bloodborne.

I just picked this up from gamefly for $15. I enjoyed the first Revelations so I'll give this a whirl when I'm done with Ori.

Re: Resident Evil Revelations 2: $5.99 gets you more value than $60

finished it yesterday, very good game. I would have loved it to be bigger budget real current gen graphics and such but enjoyed it very much. The switching of characters during play is just spot on and was my favorite thing [other than Claire ]

Ok tried the first EXTRA chapter today, what a bunch of BS the way they made it. Failed the fourth section with 2 enemies left and had no more retries [yeah the game makes you hunt for animals and that fills up retry icons] so my fucking progress was erased. FUCK!

Anyway my RESIDENT EVIL marathon comes to an end, my love for this franchise came back. This was my favorite franchise back in the day until RE4 ruined it for me. Then playing RE5 back when it came out, it got my attention back but I had moved on to other favorite series; GEARS, HALO, DEAD SPACE. So finally I decided to play the unplayed when I bought this current one.

I'm patiently awaiting RE0 HD and hopefully finally get remakes of 2 & 3 then maybe RE7 or Revelations 3.
