Yep, they are.
Given the strong reviews for this one and the fact that Destiny has bored me too much to re-slog through everything I did in the Beta, I'm doing a trade and preorder today. $44 for Destiny after GCU is solid, considering I paid $48 and got the $10 bonus.

This is now on my "must buy" list. I have made a decision that i am no longer buying games for the PS3. I am getting a PS4 before December and this game will be one of my first purchases. Bring it on....

Re: Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor
It's a good deal at $38 with RZ certificate. If this game had come out in July or August I'd have bought it for sure. With FH2 coming out this Tuesday , maybe getting Driveclub the next and Playstation TV the following, I'm going to either rent this game via Gamefly and maybe get it on Black Firday sale.
It looks like fun but I can wait a bit on it

This game sounds great... sounds like things you do (ie shoot a baddie in the eye) is remembered and said baddie will have an eye patch and comment on it later in the game. Very cool.

I am wondering what this compares to. The reviews have me interested, but virtually no interest in games like oblivion or dragon age.

Re: Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor
Its more like Batman and Assassins Creed. More action and less RPG than Skyrim or Dragon Age style games. Most reviewers are putting in 20-25 hours although it can be finished in 12-15.

I made the same order. Since all my other options involve paying tax, this basically feels like a $10 discount. Since I was just looking for an excuse to pre-order, that qualified.

At 6 GB of Vram for recommended systems I think i am going to wait awhile before buying it to make sure it is playable on my system.
Do not want my poor GTX 670 to die trying to run the game.

It was on my radar, but only if it turned out good. Glad that it did!
