Sorry guys Call Week and Call weekend hit. I've been putting in double shifts and have been wiped out by the time I got home. Next week should be better for me to join up and mess up the raids

Thank you Killer for the invite the other night but me and my bad timing again...I had stepped away and got into a movie, came back and saw the invite 2hrs earlier....

If you do one during the week I might be able to like the first part or so as long as it's not like 10-11 central....I still haven't looked at any videos or walkthroughs regarding the Raid itself.

I went back and started doing strikes again; both Heroic and normal and picked up five exotics yesterday...two from the normal strike. I'm holding on to them and see what IB brings about. My characters are at 389-390 so hope some higher gear drops.

The weekly bounty for Shaxx is indeed Control, so that will stack up nicely with Iron Banana. A few helmet exotic engrams or drops from IB packages should have everyone to 400 in the next few days. IB armor drops were kind to me the two nights I played this past week.

So are we raiding tonight or tomorrow night? At the very least, Buzz expressed interest in running the Raid, so we could run him through normal mode his first go around. I could use the armor drops since I still have a grand total of 2 pieces from the Raid. All 3 of my Guardians are now up to 400 as well, which will help when we run a HM Raid.

I'll be on doing more IB just trying to get more stuff....got my first 400 piece with a Fusion Rifle as a reward turning a bounty in.

So.....Recap of the week:

Ran Vosiks HM mode with all three characters this week and opened the Heroic Loot chest to get 8 special weapons at 400 level. NO BOOTS.

Finished Iron Banner bounties on all three characters and the 6 armor drops were helmet, gauntlets, gauntlets, chest, class item and class item at 400 level. NO BOOTS.

Probably played 30 Iron Banner matches. Multiple 400 level armor and weapons. NO BOOTS.

Logged on last night and saw you all playing raid so decided to finish last iron banner bounties and play a few matches. NO BOOTS. Honestly was considering deleting my account I was so fucking frustrated. Decided to farm the Scourge of Winter misson for exotic engrams (had about 78 3oC). Got TWO BOOT ENGRAMS TO DROP!!! With my boots ranging from 386 to 392 wasn't expecting max level drop. Passed them to my 399 Warlock (with 392 boots) and lo and behold both decode at 400 !!

So now got two of three characters to 400. Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in.

IB has provided a mix of all drops and they have been plentiful

I would suggest once you completed all bounties on your characters jump into matches that only put you into a game in progress (if matchmaking doesn't quickly put you into 12/12, cancel and initiate a search again until you do) ... that is the true way to quickly farm drops

by the way, were you using 3oC in IB because they do work there as well

Much quicker and enjoyable (for me anyway) to farm Scourge of Winter than have to play crucible. Honestly, I am ecstatic about the exotic boot drops. Just need to get one more pair along the way.

I have no doubt that Xur will be selling the boot engram next weekend!

Plus all of my exotic special weapons are now 400 so, there's that.

Just wanted to say thanks to the crew who helped me thru my first Raid.....it was interesting....and long to say the least. Glad I did bring at least one character that could jump; if I brought my Hunter we would've been another hour....

It's definitely more team base play than previous Raid with the various parts. Sorry on missing some assignments in some places....

I didn't land any armor pieces; just two guns, a fusion and pulse rifle that even at 385 the stats don't seem that great or good compared to some I have on hand. So for the night (4) pieces at 385 (two Exotics and Legendary), a few non-coded Legendary and two Exotics, two sigs, two keys and several fragments.

I played IB a lot this weekend sticking with my Titan who I can now get to 399. I landed (4) Dragons and (4) machine guns, a pair of boots, butt rag and artifact at 400. However even when I was at 398 and 399, I decoded several exotics and a few of them came in at 399 with two at 400. I'll make a last run tonight and try for a few more pieces. Then the forge this week for class, ghost and artifact.

Epic - Heavily shielded and highly aggressive enemies appear in great numbers.
Arc Burn - Arc Damage from any source is greatly increased.
Brawler - Guardian melee damage is greatly increased.
Ironclad - More enemies have shields.
Exposure - Guardian shields are increased but do not replenish.

I might be on tonight though after a heavy weekend playing IB I need a break. But I need to get some Nightfalls in along Strikes and a trip to The Forge trying to land Class Armor, Ghosts and Artifacts

I'm satisfied with my haul in IB especially the last two days where I got several 400 pieces. My Warlock couldn't buy Gloves or Boots but got (4) chests at 400 along with a artifact, a couple of Fusion and Machine Guns Thankfully all three got a good collection ad I moved and infused some pieces along with exotics and can get 399. Problem is I have just one Ghost high enough to get me there and have to move it around...at 397 and most of the others are 391.

...the other day Killer was trying to land a Dragon and at the time I already had 5-6. I had plenty of chests drop for all three characters but had a hard time landing enough gloves. I think each character got two artifacts. At least I can do some good infusion including the G-Horn and some past Exotics I like but way lower.

post game drops were limited to chests and boots in terms of armor and pulse and machine gun in terms of weapons

the only way you would have got gauntlets would have been from a bounty reward or a 3oC engram
