Final Round/Small Bore/Luck In The Chamber is a great PvP roll but I know you don't PvP

Zen Moment/Explosive Rounds or Extended Mag/Outlaw would be a good PvE roll

Hopefully Iron Banner is next week. I'm so bored I actually contemplated creating a hunter. Yep, the class I decided to delete only three weeks ago.

I'm trying to get back into this game. I never bought any of the expansions, and I just plan on getting the new Destiny collectors edition that comes with all three expansions. Is there stuff I should be doing before then besides completing the story missions? I'm at level 23 now and basically just started Mars.

Without access to the newer stuff, you're kind of stuck. You could finish the story and run the Vault Of Glass, but that's about it. You could probably get to 33 without too much trouble, but you'd need a lot of luck from Nightfalls to get to 34.

But yeah, Nightfalls, Weeklies, VOG, story. That's your path. And weeklies and Nightfall can be locked out when it uses a DLC strike.

So I ran 28 PoE with both of my brothers last night. Does it make me a complete asshole that I breathed a sigh of relief when they were both awarded with Plan C?

I figure we can run them both through VOG on HM this week since they only have one character each. They ran it on normal a few days ago so they won't be going in as vault virgins.

I'll be on my normal time tonight, and yes Sooner, I will be waiting to run NF's with Ice.
Like last week, if anyone is the odd man out I'll run them a second time if needed.

You know what, I am really dissappointed with the new weapons. Essentially by taking a legendary weapon and taking one of it's perks to be specific to Prison of Elders , Bungie has made a bunch of nerfed weapons. I don't care for these weapons and hate the fact that OG Destiny and Crota destiny has sooo many more interesting weapons. I went and deleted a bunch of HoW stuff that was just taking up space. And that too is a major problem now - crap taking up space. We need more vault space. I now am running low on weapon and armor parts but I don't have the space to leave open slots for engrams/weapon/armor to be broken down and I am now leaving behind large numbers of loot drops. The grind is starting to get to me.

the good news is I had fun last night using up all my weapon parts and glimmer on rerolling some of the Shottys that I had in the post master. Rerolled a pair of Fellwinter's Lies, 2 Party Crashers, 1 Matador and a new Judgement VI. On the Matador I got greedy and finished with a really crappy roll (It was a Solar with Full Auto and Army of One ended up solar with grave robber, small bore and cascade - Yuck) and 1 of the Party Crashers has a soso roll. Still sitting on 2 Solar Queen's Shotguns in my Post master - might shard them but the impact is really nice on them.

Armor has POE specific perks, but the weapons don't. The weapons just have Fallen specific perks, some of which (dregs, shanks) kind of suck.

Got my last couple of crota drops from last week done right before reset, and got nothing of consequence. After reset it was 3 runs through the VOG, with my 14th Vex coming in.

Still have everything else to run this week.

No NF's run yet? I'm going to hop on around 7pm ET and do all of the Queens Bounties first with all three characters. That way I have plenty to turn in when I get my Ghorn tonight.

flash, I'm pretty sure as a 23 you can't get into the original (VoG) raid nor would you be able to get into the Nightfall yet

I believe you have to be 27 to get into the Nightfall and 25 for VoG

Oh okay. I did try to run one of the dailies/weeklies (not sure what it was), it said it recommended 22, but going solo I couldn't handle it.

IIRC, you can get into any activity if you're within three levels. You can run VOG at 23, you'll just get one hit by everything.

That being said, I'd have no issues with carrying him through, as we don't need 6 for VOG anyway.

I don't want it to be a giant pain in the ass for people though. I mean, if it's cool, I'm down with whatever, but if not I completely understand. I think most of you are on my friends list already (and I'm in the clan), but if not send me an invite.

trust me we've done it while others in our group were away from the game for much of the raid (looking at you mewmartigan ) .... it's no big deal

I still am not confident a 23 can even join up on a fireteam for normal VoG

It looks like I can at least start VoG myself, not sure if that's indicative on whether or not I can do it on a fireteam though.
