How do I know if it's rolled properly? I think the last upgrade/perk on mine reduces recoil. And magazine refills when a super is cast.

It's at 3 and 5. Once you buy the first, the rank changes to 5. Since you have to ascend all the IB gear and weapons, I expect that to remain how it works, especially since IB only comes once a month.

You want to reforge that.

Shot Package, Range Finder or Full Auto are what you want for the first perk.

In the second column, you want something that increases the range. Reinforced Barrel or Rifled Barrel will do that at a cost to stability or reload speed. Range is everything in a shotgun, especially Felwinter's.

Final perk is less important as the selection isn't that great. But Luck In The Chamber or Final Round are both OK. Army Of One is a good one as well.

you want to spec out for the most impact and range

I have what many consider the dream roll on a Felwinter's with Hammer Forged and Shot Package
yet I still use other options since I don't like to ADS with a shotgun at all making Shot Package somewhat ineffective

I'd be willing to run some PoE 32 and maybe attempt 34. And IB. I want to hit 3 with my Hunter and to get started with my Warlock.

I'm including the early exits in that total. No way I'd sit through that many losses with 5 medallions.

It was just absolutely horrible teammates. every fucking game. But also the whole shit with getting one shotted by shotguns while mine do half the damage, or one shot meleed and grenaded when mine don't do the same to others.

26th game was a win. Yay.

Oh, break it up. Two game win streak! My reward for all this pain: Another fucking Truth.

And streak over. Idiot teammates leave me out to dry while capturing B. I get killed because of it. I am so fucking sick of playing with idiots.

couldn't buy a win but was best of team(s) in almost every match and that was before the lag kicked in later

See, that's my problem. I can sometimes score the best like that, but because of how I play, I need a solid team. I'm the front line usually, or the guy going behind enemy lines. I can't play passive. I tried playing Defender with my bubble and I just hate it. 90% of the time I'm killed almost instantly by golden gun, bladedancer, nova bomb or fist of havoc. And I lose my lightning grenade and fist of havoc, which is what racks up kills with my titan.

And with the teams I was playing, Passive is worthless because they had 2 zones. I hate when my teammates play passive when we don't have the advantage!

I hear you .... I was so frustrated yesterday (actually I think it was the day before when I was supposed to help someone move) that I got to log on when I got home and get the jump on playing the game .... but instead of taking advantage of that time it was a wasted opportunity since I kept getting matched up with idiots who refused to play Control the way it was meant to be played

So I hit level 3 and got my first etheric light! woohoo!

I really wanna spend it to upgrade my Vision of Confluence to 365 since that is my primary PvE weapon. However I guess the proper thing to do would be to try and get to level 5 and then use my 2 etheric lights on armor to upgrade myself to 34?

If you run the POE on 32 this week, you can get another armor core and buy the helmet. Then see if Xur offers exotic gauntlets or boots for the Hunter (I think you got the chest last week). Then you could ascend one of those and get to 34 with one Etheric Light.

As for me, I finally got Iron Wrath as I went into business for myself. Twilight Gap, I just hung behind A in the grassy area and picked people off when I could. Racked up some assists, got a 10 kill streak, and ended up capping B late in the match to lead us to a comeback victory.

That got my Titan to Rank 4. Bought Etheric Light and the new class armor.

that is probably a good idea. Right now I have an exotic helmet (the arachnid) which really does nothing for me except the light level. I never used zoom with the golden gun.

My first etheric light went to my Fatebringer.

Some folks online say that a 34 with a level 300 (or 331) weapon will do more damage than a 33 with a 365 weapon. Not sure....

After last night I have a few more exotics which are much easier to get to 365 so I think I'll go for upgrading my armor first.


Thanks for letting me come along on the raids last night. Crota seems easier than some strikes but I guess its a bad first impression when everyone is high level and there are Gjallarhorns all around. I don't think I have enough hours in the game yet to start complaining about my lack of Gjallar

How did the rest of the night go? I usually have to bail around midnight my time as I get the night time baby duty and the 4 month old usually wakes up 3 or 4 times a night.

VoG is tricky enough without hearing the baby start to stir on the monitor. "Atheon only has a bit of health left buddy, don't wake up for another 10 minutes!"
