I ordered the Hogan edition. Gamers Club Unlocked takes a lot of the sting out of these expensive collector's editions.

Well, if anyone else is around and cares, the roster reveal starts in about 15 minutes.

http://www.twich.tv/ign should get you to the live feed.

I'll probably post the roster sometime after that.

Bray Wyatt was in the game before as Husky Harris though, right?

Yeah, but Bray's a completely different character. Unlike say Curtis Axel, which was just a name change.

No Scott Hall or Edge

***Edit*** So from what I hear that isn't the whole roster, they still have more to announce later.

The Legends in this game seem fairly lacking so far. Hopefully there's more to come.

PS4 and One versions delayed to 11/18

http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/09/...4-and-xbox-one

WWE 2K15 has been delayed on PS4 and Xbox One to November 18 in North America and November 21 in Europe, 2K has announced.

The next-gen installment in the popular franchise was originally expected on October 28 in North America and October 31 in Europe. The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions will still launch on those dates.

“Visual Concepts and Yuke’s are committed to delivering the most authentic and action-packed WWE experience to date, including release for the very first time on next-generation consoles,” said Visual Concepts president Greg Thomas, President. “The additional development time enables our talented teams to ensure the WWE 2K15 next-gen experience fully meets our expectations.”

Lame.

Maybe there'll be a free digital upgrade version, ala Destiny?

I was expecting this. 2K has been woefully slow at releasing info for this game, going as far as not revealing the full roster at SummerSlam. This just seems to be the new trend in gaming, everybody falls behind.

The achievement list has leaked, revealing that Sami Zayn, Adrian Neville and The Ultimate Warrior are likely in the game.

Better they wait and get it right than to have a faulty game and have to wait for next year.

I'm ok with any delay. Gives me more time to finish other games and more time for the developer to get it right.

Re: WWE 2K15 - Cena on the cover - Sting pre-order bonus

PS3 and 360 copies have leaked out, and the news so far hasn't been very good.

Create-A-Finisher has been removed.
Custom entrance music has been removed. Even though the PS3 and 360 support it.
Pretty much all entrances have been removed, with the belief being that due to 2K changing the size of the ring to the actual WWE size, that every entrance would have to be reanimated. So the only ones that got done are the wrestlers in the game. All of the ones that could be used in the past are gone.

So basically, if you want to use the Create A Wrestler, entrances are useless.

Story Designer has been removed. I didn't use this, but some people did.

And they have a lot of DLC, as well as a season pass for $24.99. But it doesn't include everything. They basically want you to pay around $44 for all the DLC content, which is just outrageous. I guess this could have been expected, since Borderlands 2 released a crap ton of DLC that wasn't part of the season pass.

Here's the DLC list (spoilered for length):

Spoiler:

WWE Diva Paige is exclusive to the Season Pass

Accelerator

Players will gain instant access to all unlockable content available in the game (excluding downloadable content);
The Accelerator will be available for a suggested price of $1.99.

2K Showcase: One More Match

Story focused on the rivalry between WWE Superstars Randy Orton and Christian in 2011;
Playable WWE Superstars: Christian, Randy Orton, Edge, Mark Henry and Sheamus;
Playable arenas from 2011: SmackDown®, Extreme Rules®, Over the Limit® and Capitol Punishment®;
2K Showcase: One More Match will be available for a suggested price of $9.99.

2K Showcase: Hall of Pain

Story focused on top matches for WWE Superstar Mark Henry;
Playable WWE Superstars: Mark Henry, Big Show, Kane, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, Sheamus, The Great Khali, Randy Orton, Daniel Bryan and Ryback;
Playable arenas: SmackDown (2011), Vengeance® (2011) and WrestleMania® 29;
2K Showcase: Hall of Pain will be available for a suggested price of $9.99.

2K Showcase: Path of the Warrior

Story focused on the career of WWE Hall of Famer Ultimate Warrior;
Playable WWE Hall of Famers: Ultimate Warrior, Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant and Sgt. Slaughter;
Playable WWE Legends: Honky Tonk Man, Rick Rude, Macho King and Colonel Mustafa;
Playable WWE Superstars: Undertaker and Hunter Hearst Helmsley;
Access to WWE Hall of Fame ring announcer Howard Finkel and WWE managers Jimmy Hart, Bobby Heenan, Paul Bearer, Sherri, Sid Justice and General Adnan;
Playable arenas: WrestleMania VI, VII and XII; SummerSlam® (1988, 1990 and 1991); Saturday Night’s Main Event XXIV and Madison Square Garden®;
2K Showcase: Path of the Warrior will be available for a suggested price of $9.99.

WCW Pack

Playable WCW Superstars: Fit Finlay, Lord Steven Regal, Bam Bam Bigelow, Diamond Dallas Page and Lex Luger;
The WCW Pack will be available for a suggested price of $7.99.

NXT Arrival

Playable NXT Superstars: JBL, Adam Rose and The Ascension (Konnor and Victor);
Playable NXT Diva: Emma;
NXT Arrival will be available for a suggested price of $6.99.

New Moves Pack

Moves Pack: More than 30 new moves, including an alternate version of Sister Abigail (performed from the ring corner and made popular by Bray Wyatt) and Multiple Gut Wrenches (made popular by Cesaro);
The New Moves Pack will be available for a suggested price of $3.99.

Regardless of how the game looks on the PS4, I just can't see myself buying it. They're gutting the customization side of things, and expecting you to pay more for it. Maybe next year some of the stuff will come back, but I'm not holding my breath.

I will say that the Warrior showcase sounds awesome, but Mark Henry? Seriously? Orton Vs. Christian? Supposedly there will be a discount on the WCW, NXT, and moves pack if you buy the season pass, but that's just dirty pool there.

Hmm 5-10 years ago I would be outraged by the customization stuff being gutted, but I don't have time anymore to sit around making CAWs.

They got me with Paige on the season pass though. Bastards.

It's one thing to use DLC to add extra characters, but to add extra moves to update superstars already in the game? That should just be part of a free patch.

Some of the 2K Showcases are weird... are people really looking to revisit feuds from just 3 years ago? Especially ones that don't involve CM Punk?

Last Gen- yes.

Current Gen- We probably won't know until people get early copies, but probably yes.

Let me clarify.

You can still make a custom entrance. What has been removed is the vast majority of entrances to choose from. You can still pick and choose from the entrances of wrestlers in the game, and I think you can still make entrances from using parts of those.

What was removed are all of the "generic" entrances, and entrances of wrestlers that were in the game in the past, but no longer there. For instance, Kurt Angle's entrance has been in there for years, making an Angle CAW more realistic. My CAW used an old Gregory Helms entrance.

So with the removal of custom music (this was always going to be the case this year for the PS4/XBONE), and the removal of these entrance choices, create an entrance is severely gimped, especially for past WWE stars.

Re: WWE 2K15 - Cena on the cover - Sting pre-order bonus

I used to make a bunch of CAW's back in the day but haven't really bothered with them in a long time. They take a lot of time to get just right unless you download someone else's. I guess for me that feature being tweaked won't make me not purchase the game but I can see why some people might be upset. I'll still get the game at some point but will most likely wait until I get either a PS4 or an X-Box One

It really got hammered by IGN. A 5.9 I think.

My buddy who is a hardcore WWE fan says it's cool but basically 2k14 with some new stuff in and some old stuff out. He's trading it in when the PS4 version releases.

What I can't believe is that in order to get every bit of DLC (not including the pre-orders) you have to spend $40 bucks! 2k is out out of their friggin' minds.

Yeah that is pretty lame to have to pay that much for extra content. Sort of used to that kind of thing with DLC now days though. The best thing to do is to wait it out until they put it on sale at some point.
