I think MoviePage would tell you how you are wrong...and that the boss at 3:09 is more yes yes yes...but he is either on his way to Wal-Mart or in a chair going back and forth with himself if he wants to put his shoes on or not and get in the car and go to wal-mart.

I did not go to Walmart. I also did not watch the video because screw that, I'm going in totally blind on this game. It's the most satisfying way to approach these games. I think the only footage I've seen was the E3 reveal trailer.

It's not like one, it is one. Sequel in everything but name.

Re: Bloodborne - PS4 (Sony Japan + From + Miyazaki)

I'll pick my copy up this morning sometime and hopefully go home for lunch so to load and get the patch installed. I'm still reading the wiki on the classes and weapons just to figure out which class to start with. Right now if I had to choose it would be....

Lone Survivor > Violent Past > Cruel Fate in that order

Weapon.....The Threaded Cane but just to see the Saw Blade and snap it out....and pass on the Axe since when extended you're without the Gun to parry with though it does a lot of damage.

I would play this first, get a good trade-in value for it. Mordor is already cheap, as is Isolation, and Borderlands will probably be budget priced in no time like every HD remaster that isn't Grand Theft Auto or Zelda.

I am going with troubled childhood...because while the vitality is low, the endurance is so high it should easily offset that because you take less damage per hit...also endurance directly effects stamina and being able to get off one more hit or dodge one more time will make a huge difference.

(edit cause I put the wrong one lol)

Re: Bloodborne - PS4 (Sony Japan + From + Miyazaki)

So I just got back from picking it up from Best Buy (scored the only C.E. they had left), but here is the thing that bugs the shit out of me regarding Best Buy and makes me worry about their long term survival. I get there and head to the games section and of course Bloodborne is nowhere to be found, luckily there was an employee nearby who asked me if I needed help and I told him I was looking for a game that came out today and before I could even say the name he says "Bloodborne?". When I told him yes, he says "Ok, I have them in the back". And when he brings me a copy you would think he would bring out more to put on the shelf, but no. How do they expect to sell shit if they don't bother to put it on the floor?

BB is notorious for that. If it isn't a game that has it's own promotional standee, they are usually not on the shelf when the store opens on a Tuesday. I've had to ask many times for items that were just released on the release day. That is why I pretty much order online now, so I can just go to the CSR desk to get it.

So if I put the game in and put it on standby/sleep mode it'll auto install and download updates for the game? Sorry I've never used this feature before and wanna start playing Bloodborne right when I get home from work .

Pretty much.

Check under Notifications > Downloads to make sure it's downloading and then put the console on standby.

I don't think it can install from a disk in standby mode. It will download updates.

Installing from a disk is usually a pretty quick process though.

Re: Bloodborne - PS4 (Sony Japan + From + Miyazaki)

15 minutes in and notes from other players have already saved me a couple of times. Love that system.

This really is a Souls game in nearly every respect, but an alternate-universe one where everything is slightly different and has another name.
