enjoyed the game..the story..atmosphere...

Collectibles were out of hand, and there ONLY to make the 4 hour game longer....

This should have been a 15 dollar digital release. Shame on them asking 60 bucks for it. At 15 bucks people would have been praising it.

I'm baffled by the reception for Murdered: Soul Suspect. Fantastic game. It has an interesting plot, great game mechanics, collectibles that actually add to the background of the story, and was a perfect length (8-10 hours) that didn't wear out it's welcome. The only nitpicks I have is it could have used a map system and the combat was unnecessary. Throughout my whole playthrough (100% completion) there were maybe 10-12 demons and all you do is sneak up behind them and execute them. I'm sure the developers thought they had to have some sort of combat in the game but it didn't need it. Highly recommended if you're looking for a game that's different from the norm to play on your PS4.

I picked this up not expecting all that much and was pleasantly surprised. The story and the gameplay were very solid and I had a good time playing it. I could see playing it again to do some of the side stuff.

I agree the price was a bit high for what it is, but I'm still happy with the purchase, I had fun playing it.

And I agree the game is not worth full price. I actually enjoyed the game, but I would not want to spend more than 15 bucks for it. Placing a value on a game based on your overall experience with it is a fair way to let others know what you think. This is a 4 hour game lengthened by collectibles. The story was well done, but I see ZERO replay value, something short games need to justify a high price.

There are a total of maybe 10-15 enemies in the game, no difficulty setting, and basically it is set out so you can not fail, making it a slightly interactive story. If not for the collectibles you could have made this game a website, with clicking on parts of the page continuing the story.

You didn't say I'd recommend waiting till it drops to $10. You said it's a $10 game. That implies something different and that is why it was relevant that I said you didn't know how much the game cost to make.

For those interested who have their 360s/PS3s lying around, the game is still at several of my local Redbox locations. Given that it'll probably take only two or three nights to knock out, you're looking at about $6 to run through it (without any coupons).

It is worth playing..I would wait until it is 15 or under personally...it is just the kind of game that will continue to drop in price.
