I figure this, wrapping up Skylanders along with some Call of Duty will keep me busy until the following Tuesday when we get Far Cry 4 and GTA in the same day. The same day?! Decisions, decisions! Maybe I'll hook up both of my PS4s in the living room and play both games at the same time with one hand each.

I do wonder why the same company decided to release two huge open world action games a mere seven days apart. Research must show this is where by far the most games are sold regardless of market saturation.

My feeling as well. I know they delayed AC:Unity like two weeks and at the time I was sort of glad since I knew I'd still be playing Destiny. And frankly I was so-so on Far Cry 4 far more than AC:Unity. The more I think about it I might roll the dice and see if this comes up on sale around Black Friday. Besides Far Cry 4 we still have Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls which we need to get back in.

Buzz, as I was reminded in another thread, Ubisoft games tend to drop in price relatively quickly after release. Also, IIRC, they are usually on sale on Black Friday too.

We're still on with Far Cry 4 and in fact I did the Digital Download Season Pass last month. But from what I've seen with AC:Unity it looks fantastic and cannot wait to do the co-op part. It's just a shame both are a week apart.

Yes, that used to be the case, but this generation it hasn't been. Black Flag, Watch_Dogs, Rayman Legends - none of them have dropped cheap yet on the new systems. I ended up getting black flag cheap by buying the ps3 version and paying $10 in the PSN store for the upgrade

I'm looking at grabbing this after all. Someone mentioned they just got their $15.00 credit from spending $100 on PSN. I might use it on getting this game if I can figure out how to use it seperately. This and Far Cry 4 are the only ones I want till next year.

AC Rogue actually looks pretty good. I wonder if there'll be a PS4/XB1 version down the line...

I actually find Rogue, the story anyhow, to be much more appealing that Unity. But honestly, I don't wanna dig my PS3 out of the closet. Fingers crossed for a PS4 release in six months or so.

I guess Rogue links Black Flag to Unity:

[story spoilers for Rogue]
Spoiler:

- Shay does kill Adewale
- You visit Lisboa, Paris, New York and Albany as well as lots of towns and forteesses
- You work for Haytam
- The Abstergo emoloyee is promoted to full templar at the end
- Achilles is not a totally good guy. He's very reckless and puts knowledge before people
- Shay is hinted to be the MAIN BAD GUY for Unity
- The ending takes place at Versailles Palace, killing Arno's father and starting the revolution

Same here. I'm passing on Unity but will be all over Rogue if it comes to PS4.

Saw an ad for Unity last night. Dumb question: Is it ONLY multiplayer, or is there a SP campaign?

It's mostly a single-player campaign. The multi-player/co-op, is just a perk.

Ah, okay. It just seemed heavily focused on co-op from the ad. Thanks!

Videogame marketing always feels like they have to push multiplayer over everything else, and developers get that pressure too; to throw in those features just to put it on a checklist on the back of the box.

Rogue looks awesome but they're charging full price for a last gen game? I figured it's retail at $50.

There will be a PC release next year so I assume a PS4/XB1 version is also in the cards.

Re: Assassin's Creed V (Unity? 18th-Century Paris) -- Fall 2014; Two Games Possible

I wish I could've finished Black Flag before this came out - I mean, I did get a few hours into it, but then live and other games got in the way. Maybe I'll alternate between that and Unity, they seem different enough. But then there's Rough... Gah! There's either no games out or way too many at once.

It's not leaked, it's posted on their own website.
