Agreed. My most wanted title is Deadly Premonition. I've been holding off on replaying that one on my 360 in hopes that it shows up on BC, but I don't think Microsoft even cares, let alone Access Games.

Thought this is a pretty good deal for those who were on the fence, like me. Actually got for $5.41 bc no-rush shipping applies to digital video games.

$11.99?
It's $10 on the Xbox Spring Sale.

Just checked the XB Store for Gold deals and see Ryse free. Right now I'm just playing Gears on the pc and never really followed Ryse even when it came out. Is it worth a go, updates do anything, etc...
And speaking of Gears...anyone still playing it like the Horde part. I still need to finish the campaign. I saw where there was some new update with Raam but didn't see what it was. Thanks.

Those Lara Croft games are a lot of fun. I love platformers but I could not get into that Gianna Sisters game.

Is there a fix to an on and off Kinect? It goes in and out and I have to unplug to reset and make work. And, that only works for a bit. I don't use it to play anything but I like going home and shutting off with voice...

It started out as something that happened once a month, to becoming a weekly thing, to daily, to now multiple times a day.

Mine was doing that and eventually got to the point where it would only stay on for literally under 5 minutes before malfunctioning again. Microsoft said the Kinect was defective and would need to be replaced, but it was out of warranty (my fault for waiting so long to address it) and it wasn't worth replacing.

Dead Space 2 & 3 got added to backwards compatibility today. I stopped in at Gamestop during my lunch and picked up both along with Prey (not backwards compatible but probably will be) for $14 total since they were having a B2G1 free sale on 360/PS3 games.
The Dead Space series is one of my favorite games series and glad to see them finally hit since it doesn't look like we're going to get a remaster anytime soon.

R.I.P. my day one Xbox One console -- 11/22/13 - 4/28/17
The disc drive had been petering out for a while, to the point where I couldn't even play movies anymore. They'd continually stutter and pixelate. Eventually, it wouldn't even recognize game discs, or, more annoyingly, I'd be mid-game and I'd be booted out, informed that I needed to re-insert the disc that was already in the console. Sometimes it'd take 15-20 attempts to get a disc to read, and I tried every trick on Reddit, Xbox forums, and the like.
It's basically an Overwatch box for my wife these days, so I suggested just re-buying the game digitally so no disc would be required, but she wasn't crazy about that idea. (In theory, she'll return to Forza Horizon 3 at some point too, and Jackbox and Rocket League are in rotation as well.) She wasn't wild about waiting for an online order to ship either. So, I bought an Xbox One S at Best Buy today, and I'm sure I'll buy a Project Scorpio (or whatever it winds up being called) later this year as well. I rationalize it as us getting our money's worth until the Scorpio comes out, and the cloud features make the S a compelling second console since saves/profiles will sync even when it's in another room.
I guess I'll have to get an adapter for the Kinect if we ever want to use that again. I missed the window where the adapters were free, alas.

re: Xbox One: S $249 Now / X $499 November 7 2017
I'm having some trouble with my new Xbox One S, and I was hoping someone here might have some guidance.
I'm getting a 'controller disconnected' error with my new controller, but weirdly, the gem remains lit up, and it's a solid light -- no blinking. It's completely non-responsive. No button does anything. I've tried changing batteries, and the same thing happens again after a couple of minutes. I've tried both the plug and charge pack as well as brand new AA batteries. I've also tried plugging the controller in, and it makes no difference. I've tried re-pairing the controller, and again, no dice. The firmware on the controller is up to date. After power-cycling the console, the controller will work for a bit, although the same thing inevitably happens again.
I can use my old Day One XB1 controller with my S with no issues whatsoever.
Any ideas?

Can you not buy games, DLC, etc. with Xbox gift cards on Xbox One? I tried to buy something over the weekend and it wouldn't accept the gift card as a form of payment.

You need to redeem the gift card first (Redeem Code) and that will add the money to your account.

Isn't it strictly through a 360 console? I think the XB1 console has the same limitations as the website with payment methods on 360 titles.
