I personally do not like how achievements are buried in a separate "app" and require too much work to view and compare. I feel much more disconnect this time than I did on 360.
Edit: found a good link detailing the threads: http://www.videogamer.com/news/micro...omplaints.html

Yeah, I hate the way Achievements show up now. I almost never bother to look and see what the achievement actually was, it's just too disconnected.
Let's see in a year, I bet both consoles have a completely different interface, .

I don't know about completely different UIs, but definitely some additional features and a whole lot of improvements.

It says to hold the big X button when you pop an Achievement for more information, but I've managed to completely come out of a game without saving by doing that.

Perhaps this is a dumb question, but the Day One edition controller actually has the "Day One" marking on it, but the actual console doesn't? Is that correct?

Trying to finagle a free game out of Amazon for my bad blu-ray drive return to match the Microsoft offer, but I'm starting to feel kind of dirty. They did offer to intercept the return that's due tomorrow and I can just do the deal through Microsoft. I think I might just take them up on that offer.
edit: I now need a shower.

Lots of people trying to score free shit from Amazon lately it seems. I'll be honest, it's kind of gross.

I can say first hand you don't want to abuse the Amazon return or price match policy, or ask for compensation too much. I was banned, and although I was reinstated, it was a pain in the ass.

Yep go to the game in the "Games and Apps" section. Highlight the game and hit the menu (old start button) button and an option to uninstall will be there.

So I uploaded a few clips tonight. How come there is no sound in mine? Is there no sound during editing til it's uploaded?
How do I stream? Thanks

Yeah, I've heard the stories. Luckily I spend A LOT of money with Amazon, and hardly ever ask for anything, so I'm not too concerned. I basically asked if either they could match Microsoft's return deal or do the shipment interception the mentioned earlier, whichever they felt was the better solution for me.

Agreed. I wonder what the % is of the units that have this issue.

Voice commands are most annoying for starting up the system, and using the TV app. I have to say "Xbox On" numerous times sometimes to get it to turn on. So much for "Kinect always on and watching" paranoia. Channel surfing is a pain, I get wrong channels frequently. Logitech has the system in their database, I just need to update my Harmony remote.

Yeah, I've had shit luck with Kinect voice commands. My neighbors probably think I'm crazy hearing me scream "Xbox On", "Xbox Play", etc, over and over. I'm hoping it's just faulty, because at one point wasn't able to hear anything (the sound test was failing), until I jiggled the cable in the back of the console, then it started working again.
