So I logged into my account on my brothers X-Bone a month or so ago. Last night I logged into my X-Bone and saw that The Evil Within (a game I don't have) is installed on my console. My brother told me that when he booted his up his to install the game (which he owns a physical copy of) the Kinect recognized him as me. Anyhow, somehow I now have a copy of The Evil Within on my console as well. Does anybody know if that is normal?

Sounds like, when he installed it, he was inadvertently logged in as you, so MS thinks you're the one who installed it (on a console you don't own), so it must have pushed the digital download to your own console automatically, thinking you would want that. That's definitely ODD, but... that's my understanding.
Can you actually PLAY it on your console, without the disc? I'm guessing no.

Wasn't quite sure where this should go, figured this works. Production values look pretty good.

I'll give the TrueAchievements app a try, but I really don't see a need for something like that:
- Following a guide/walkthrough is much easier on an iPad or something, snapping to the side of the TV sucks. Not even sure if you can do this kind of thing with the app, but my point stands in general.
- Why not just go to the website? Why have a dedicated app?
- Xbox.achievements.com is still has a much better general layout.

I dug achievements for a bit the first few years when I had a 360, but I feel like I don't give a shit anymore.

Reminder : those with EA Access can play NBA Live 15 now through Monday (for up to 6 hours). It's improved since last year, but I'm still not a fan.

Temporary price drop, including bundles. $350 all holiday season long. From http://majornelson.com/2014/10/27/xb...inkId=10212303 :
The Season of Xbox will begin on November 2, when Xbox One will be available for a special, limited-time promotional offer of $349 in the U.S. Special promotional pricing of $50 off the console of your choice applies to any Xbox One console, including special edition bundles, offering some of the year’s most anticipated games – Assassin’s Creed: Unity, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, and Sunset Overdrive.

Offer valid November 2, 2014 through January 3, 2015
That should stack with some good Black Friday Bundles. If I could grab the Assassin’s Creed: Unity or Sunset Overdrive bundle, with an additional game or two, for $350. That might be enough to get me to bite.

Surprised there isn't a master chief collection bundle
Still, might be getting a XB1 sooner than planned now

That's a remarkable deal. If that doesn't win the Holiday season for the Xbox One, nothing will.

So I talked my friend into getting an xbox one with the sunset bundle. He has had in on preorder for a while. It comes out tomorrow and then a week later it drops 50 bucks. He is a little upset right now. He is trying to email amazon to see what they will do.

Why doesn't he cancel the pre-order and wait? Or is it past the cancellation phase? In which case, refuse delivery.
