Seems like GTA V always drops around that price, but I also don't think i've seen it really go anywhere lower then that.

Hoping someone here might be able to help me out. I haven't had an XBox console for several years now, and am out of the loop.
I have a couple of old 1600 Microsoft Points cards that are still sealed in plastic cases, and am wondering whether these are still redeemable for XBox Live funds or not? I believe they used to be worth $20 each. Thanks for any help!

I have a crapton of those somewhere from old Best Buy coupon glitches. I better start using those before they change the rules.

Microsoft Says Scorpio Will Not Have Better Framerates For Regular Xbox One Games.
Another day, another confusing bit of messaging from Microsoft regarding their new console, the Xbox Scorpio. Fans and press alike have been trying to figure out exactly what the Scorpio and all its teraflops are capable of, trying to understand a narrative as to why people will want to upgrade to an expensive new console next year, but so far Microsoft has struggled to adequately explain the system.
The most recent case in point is a recent conversation between Game Informer and Microsoft Studios general manager Shannon Loftis regarding framerate. Namely, how the two consoles will have identical framerates for games they share.
“No, there wouldn’t be a frame rate difference, because typically the frame rate is determined by the game developer and what’s right for the gameplay mechanic,” Loftis says. “You don’t necessarily want to create two different mechanics for two different configurations.”
Pressing this further, GI asked if that meant games limited to lower framerates on Xbox One now would stay at lower framerates, despite the new capabilities of the Scorpio:
“Typically, yes. A good example is Killer Instinct, which is cross-play on PC and Xbox One. We have locked the frame rate to 60 frames per second,” Loftis says. “We could do better on super high end PCs, but that ruins the competitive nature of it.”

The title suggests an absolute, but her actual comments seem to match the most recent thing Spencer had said and that it's up to developers. Even the last quote seems to indicate that with the use of the word "typically", which makes sense that some competitive games might have a locked frame rate but other types of games might not.

Yeah, multiplayer is one thing, and single player another. I think it should be pretty clear for anyone, if you want to have MP between PC and Xbox One(s), you have to keep the same settings across all the devices.
Halo SP? I'm sure Scorpio will look and player better in Scorpio, and yeah the framerate should be above 60 too. Unless...
As a PC player you know that most of the time you need to compromise. Do you want 4k? Most probably you will have a lower framerate, unless you have a monster machine. And then you have to consider all the other effects you can turn on...

Exactly. That Forbes contributor, as is usually the case, missed the point of what was said in order to publish a silly headline.

This is the headache everybody predicted when it was said that blogs would now be mixed in as news for websites like Google and Yahoo.

I saw that tweet. I misunderstood it. I thought it meant you could play for free for 7 days. Sort of a demo. I don't even like Halo bit I will take a free game.

Yeah, same. I got the game for Christmas last year, and haven't even opened it yet. But I'll gladly take a free digital copy instead.

It's a hugely disappointing game, but for free absolutely worth the download. Wished I hadn't bought it before, much more so now.
