I will not get an XO for this, no matter how promising it looks. I'll get the game on PC but, should they shaft PC gamers, it simply means I'll miss out on the game.

I've played all three multiple times mostly because my kids love them, but I still enjoy them too. I did get stuck on #3 at one point when I was playing it on Crushing and just never went back to it.

I'd been thinking about replaying TR on 360, then Amazon had the One version for $20 so that was an easy purchase.

So it's in practical terms nearly the same as an exclusive. It works out OK for me, though, since I rarely play first-run games. But like Uncharted, Tomb Raider might be one of the exceptions.

Pretty sure they worked out the exclusivity deal before the consoles were released, and long before it was apparent what a success the PS4 would be. Hindsight, I'm sure they'd just come out for both consoles at the same time, as I doubt MS gave them as much money as they will lose by not being on PS4 asap.

On the plus-side, by the time it does make it to the PS4, it's more than likely that any DLC will be included, along with other bells & whistles, not to mention, it's even more likely that it'll be a far more polished version, unlike so many triple-A titles these days that come out bug-ridden on release day, only to be patched weeks later.

Microsoft didn't buy the IP so obviously it won't be true exclusive. 10 years from now you'll probably be able to buy Street Fighter V and Rise of the Tomb Raider it on the App Store on your iPhone. But I don't see any reason to believe that these exclusive agreements will come to an end during the current console cycle.

I personally see no point in waiting for the $15 10th Anniversary Edition of SFV to come to Xbox Two, if I had a PS4 I'd buy it and if you wanna play RotTR I wouldn't recommend waiting for the $15 10th Anniversary Edition PS5 version.

I know this is the same day as Fallout 4, but I think i'll be playing this first with Fallout afterwards over the rest of the holidays.

My "plan" is to tackle the Fallout 4 campaign up to the point of no return (if there is one...), then the Tomb Raider campaign, then I'll go back to Fallout for all the side quests.

Nice to see that it is 100% coming to PS4. With 6 must buy titles this year: Metal Gear, Mad Max, Rainbow Six, Fallout 4, Star Wars Battlefront and Just Cause 3, I can wait until then to buy it. Thanks, Microsoft for investing the money to make sure we get to play a good game.

Yup, glad I get to play it on PS4 but with so many other titles coming out, next year is fine.

Also, it'll most likely be a complete package on the PS4, with all DLC and upgrades, along with all the kinks worked out.

I'll do the same as I ended up doing last gen: play it first on Xbox and a year or so later play through the definitive version on Playstation.

I played the reboot on PC, but I'm probably going to get it on XBox One to play right away rather then wait.

Bummed to have to wait a year, but glad it's coming to the PS4 at all. This could be a reverse of the Street Fighter situation, which would suck for me.

I'll catch this on the fall of the price. If it's a complete edition on PS4, I'll buy it when there's a good discount. If it's the regular edition on PS4, I'll buy the Xbox version for even less.
