The Tron Characters are already in the game. They're just digital (PC and Mobile) exclusives this generation. Don't be surprised if those figures work in 2.0, similar to Crystal Mickey last time around.

They need to make those lightsabers light up. The tech exists - just put a skylanders lightcore piece on the Infinity base and it blinks ... At the third version of this game, they need to step it up.

Like they won't sell just because they're star wars, and then sell again next time around when they get reposes with lightcore technology...

Re: Disney Infinity - Disney's Infinite Moneymaker

For those looking to round out their figure collection, Gamestop has all of their 1.0 figures for $7.99 and 2.0 $9.99.

Next week Target will have a 50% Infinity sale that will cover starter packs, characters, playsets, etc. thus making their figures cheaper. But I figured I would mention the Gamestop deal in case someone needed a 1.0 figure that their store did not have in stock.

Rather than pick through all the "scratch tested" packs in store last week at Best Buy, Target and Toys R Us, I decided to order a couple through Best Buy since they elevated me to Elite status earlier this year. I did not receive any of the hexagon rares, but I did receive the Infinity Guantlet.

FYI, there really isn't scratch testing for 2.0, as the colored discs don't have holograms, so it's really impossible to tell what's in the pack, other than whether they're round or hexagonal.

Also for 2.0, most of the various sky and texture discs are a lot harder to come across than the supposed "rare" colored discs.

I had not even noticed the holograms not being there other than the one I got yesterday and the supposed "rare" pack that was recently released. I have been looking at the common 1.0 discs too much lately to notice I guess...lol

They must have been looking for the sky and texture discs as all of the ones I looked at had been ruffled.

Re: Disney Infinity - Disney's Infinite Moneymaker

For the first go round I just bought 30 packs at a time, took then home and tested them on the portal and then returned all of the unnecessary packs. I still ended up with more duplicates than I wanted.

September 4 is Star Wars toy day, probably too soon for this though.

Yeah, pretty much those. Yoda and Han too. I'm not very excited about those Emotion ones though. Would rather have more Star Wars or other originals (hello Disney?! Where is Goofy?).

I would rather have a new Marvel playset instead of the Emotion one.

Han Solo and Leia, will be must buys for me, but i don't think they will be all that fun to play

Without a playset, the originals are just glorified statues to me, so I'm fine waiting on getting those out until they actually decide to focus on them (same with princesses).

Re: Disney Infinity - Disney's Infinite Moneymaker

Someone on another board noticed that the Best Buy site states this with the starter sets...

Free Bonus Item

Disney Interactive Studios - Disney Infinity 3.0 Pre-Order Bonus - White
More information coming soon.
I was going to hold off on picking this up until Black Friday in case there are the usual sales. But between the Best Buy bonus(depending on what it is), price being $52 w/ GCU and the $10 pre-order Reward cert., it has me rethinking on whether to go ahead and put an order in. Gonna hold off and hopefully find out what that pre-order bonus is before deciding though.

Re: Disney Infinity - Disney's Infinite Moneymaker

If anyone is interested in the Vita kit that comes with the exclusive Black Costume Spider-Man figure, there's a pretty good deal going on at Gamestop.

Thru 5/16, with the purchase of the Vita Kit, you get the Avengers Play Set for free
Thru 5/23, with any $10 infinity purchase, you get the rare power disc pack for free.
Thru 5/23, with the purchase of any starter kit, you get any single figure for free.

All these offers stack, so you can purchase the vita kit and get all 3 free items. Even if you don't have a Vita and only want the Spider-Man figure, you could probably resell everything else and come pretty darn close to making your money back.

Note, that if you purchase this online, currently the purchase won't go thru unless you add something else to the order. This is because the Vita kit still shows as a pre-order, and it doesn't charge you right away. So it tries to charge your card for $0 and fails. I added a 49 cent tablet charger to my order and it went through.

Re: Disney Infinity - Disney's Infinite Moneymaker

Can the Star Wars figures available for preorder anywhere online? I know you can preorder the starter pack on Amazon, but i didn't see where you could get the figures.

Gotta get Darth Vader and Darth Maul

Re: Disney Infinity - Disney's Infinite Moneymaker

why the heck won't they announce a release date yet?

I have seen that you can preorder on amazon, but it is saying 12/31 which i am sure is just a place holder until the real date comes out. no way this comes out after the holidays.

I also saw on amazon that you can't preorder Darth Maul...I guess he is coming later

It also sucks that Bobba Fett is a PS4/3 exclusive

I think the Boba Fett figure is just a timed exclusive as it states this in the description...

Experience the Star Wars Saga with the Sony exclusive Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition: Star Wars Saga Bundle, featuring the Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition Starter Pack and 2 exclusive early releases, including the Rise Against the Empire Play Set and Boba Fett Figure."
Also, not sure if it is a price mistake since everyone else is currently charging $10 for these, but Wal-Mart has the 4-disc Tomorrowland and Star Wars power disc packs for 4.96 each. I went ahead and put an order in for one of each.

Tommowland power disc pack

Star Wars: TotR power disc pack
