What is part 8, how can I see what part I'm in?

How do I trade my eggs for a box and what don't I have any gold eggs?

It's the quest Number like "Four Day Weekend Quest for Our Sins Part X"

Part 7 is Ned Makes Easter Dinner, so get your corn down before the end of that.

if you have 500 of a certain color egg, click the Easter basket icon next to the friend and build icons and you can buy a box.

Gold eggs only come as a reward from blue or pink egg boxes.

All I've managed to win so far, aside from decorations, are the NPC animals.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I got the Banana Dictatorship.

I accumulated 500 blue (lowest value for me) eggs and was too lazy to search for neighbors who would trade them in for me, so I just bought a blue box and got an Easter egg pile. I'd thought this was, like, y'know, a pile of blue or pink eggs, but no, it appears to be just a useless decoration like the Easter pond. At least the Valentine's pond was a multiplier!

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

This morning I got to 500 each of red and blue eggs. Each gave me gold eggs. I cashed in my gold eggs for a box and got the Easter gate. Lame.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I haven't won any of the items that I am hoping for. Buildings and Characters.

I got fences once, a tree, gold eggs.

But events like this make me realize how many people on my list have stopped playing the game, which hurts my earning ability. I pruned off a few and sent out some requests.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I gotta say this event sucks. Maybe I just don't get it but I don't see how anyone can get all the prizes. I play daily and I've opened only four blue boxes so far. I got fences, a pile of eggs, Easter pond and 100 gold eggs. I almost had 500 pink eggs but then I accidentally tapped a basket in another town.

Same here.. So far I've opened 5 pink boxes and no blue or gold boxes.

I've got the following items:

Easter Tree x2
Fence x1 (but gives you three fences)
Golden eggs x2 (gives you 100 golden eggs each time)

And the odds on getting the items people will actually want, buildings and characters, are probably much lower than getting the other items.

It definitely looks bleak. I'm lucky to have gotten one building, but I'm really hoping for the characters in the gold box. I'm nearly done with part 8 of the quest (thanks to all for the corn tip), but I'm hoping they'll add some ways of getting more eggs down the road.

Pretty much. I'm up to eight fences total, six Easter and two pastels from the gold box.

Yeah... that fence quest makes me think that the fences are weighted more so they come up. They need more characters with tasks that get you eggs.. The ones that there already have that are too few and most of them are longer tasks. Apu's, I think it is his, has a task that takes 1.5 days.

Agree, and the frustrating thing about the main quest, around stage 7 or so,
Spoiler:
is that some of the only egg-generating characters are required, so I had to wait for them to be done with their long tasks, then take them off their egg tasks to resume the quest.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I also think I need to start removing some people from my in-game friends list. I have a good number of towns that don't look like they have been active in a while or there is nothing for me to tap at all in the town.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Ugh.. I'm going to go with the fences are rigged...

I just traded 500 pink eggs for a pink box. The items displayed on the screen and there is an audible "click" as it switches to the next item. In my view, it "clicked" switched to the fence and then "clicked" again so I thought it would go to the next item. It stayed on the fence.

If I had the ability to just "get" the items in my game, I would be doing that and not feel bad about it with this event. And I thought the Christmas wheel and the one wheel event before that was bad. :headshake:

Yeah, I liked it better when you could go for certain point tiers and know what you were going to get. The random stuff is frustrating.

I do like electrocuting bunnies better than trying to spot snakes, though.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Last year's Halloween was my first events and I think it's still my favorite one so far. Individual and communal prizes that were obtainable yet still a bit of a challenge to obtain.

They do the little jokes, showing that they know it's frustrating. Ha! Ha!

I keep imagining the rabid little bunnies are EA execs.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I'm not a fan of this quest.

Can't figure out baskes in friend s towns and what the benefit is to putting eggs in those based.

Already have 2 pads but at East I got 500 Gold eggs so far. Which did yield 2 pastel picket fences, Zzzzzzzzzzz.

Also it loo like Otis(Groucho) has quit the game.

The idea is that everyone defaults to either blue or pink eggs, and that's what you'll get the majority of from tapping bunnies. When visiting friends, you'll receive the bulk of that one color, and when you're down to getting only one egg per tap, you'll be getting only your default color. So you'll presumably be stacking up on your default color, which you can then "trade up" for the other color. E.g., my default is blue, so I can visit other people's towns and dump 100 of my blue eggs in exchange for 50 pink eggs. The pink eggs are rarer for me so the pink box should theoretically have the better prizes, e.g., 300 golden eggs instead of 100.

That said, I've now gotten three beach umbrellas from the pink box.

Note: You can also mess up like I did and accidentally "trade down"--I got 50 blue eggs in exchange for my 100 pink eggs. Bad move.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

This has the breakdown on odds and it says you are guaranteed to win every prize once you get to opening each box 80 times:
