I'll be on in about an hour. Still need to get my Titan and Warlock up to level 5. Rumor has it that a certain sleepy Marine may join in for some fun this evening.

Re: Bungie - Destiny
OK, first off, happy Black Spindle day folks. I guess if you want another shot at it, this would be your chance, but with the drop rate for the ship not coming til AFTER the patch, you may wanna wait. Also, keep in mind that Sunday will be the monthly Sleeper Simulant day, if you still need that.
Anyhoo, enough of that, on to the Xur Report. And in the tradition of hard hitting interviews that my Xur Report has become known for, I have secured another big one: an exclusive talk with the one man who should have a lot to say: The Speaker. Does he live up to his name? Find out in the video report.
As for Xur himself, he is located in North Tower, past the speaker at the end of the walkway.
For the Titan it's Immolation Fists. Like to see things explode? These gloves help.
For the Hunter, it's Radiant Dance Machines. No, they still don't give you perks for dancing. But they make you move faster while aiming. Combine with MIDA for really fast movement.
For the Warlock, it's The STAG helmet. Are you feeling horny? This helmet might be for you. Though it's a pale imitation of The Ram.
No engram this week because...
The Weapon this week is the Year 2 SUROS Regime. The Year 2 is different from Year 1 in that you can swap between Focused Fire and Spinning Up perks. I go a bit more in depth in the video version about this weapon. It's still OK, but will never be the god gun it was in 2014.
The legacy engram is for Special Weapons. Still need a House Of Wolves Exotic? Here's your chance. Otherwise, don't buy this. However, I did buy a couple, with one of them making the video report.
The one that didn't make the cut: I got a Lord Of Wolves.
So there you have it for the text version. Stay tuned for the video report, complete with the interview with The Speaker, and fun with Legacy Engrams, coming right up.

Re: Bungie - Destiny
all the info you are getting for now info seekers
Prior to the holiday break we mentioned a second, larger update slated for Spring. That content release will feature a significant Light increase, a bunch of new gear to earn and equip, and new challenges for PvE players seeking some more fun experiences and replayability.
Beyond that, the team is focused on delivering a large expansion later this year, and a full Destiny sequel in 2017.
As work wraps up in the weeks ahead, look for more details about the Spring content, as well as more information about our bigger projects in the months that follow.
Thanks for your patience, and thanks for playing.

Today Activision confirmed that, as Kotaku reported last month, Destiny 2 won’t be out until 2017. But there will be a significant expansion later this year.
Said the company in a press release this afternoon: “Activision Publishing, along with its partners at Bungie, expects to bring a large new expansion to Destiny in 2016 and to release a full game sequel in 2017.”
There’s no word yet what this “large new expansion” will actually be. As we reported in January, Bungie made the decision earlier this year to delay Destiny’s sequel, and plans for the future of the game’s content are changing frequently.

Re: Bungie - Destiny
Just as long as the expansion isn't $40 for one new area, a couple missions and a raid.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me thrice, hey, you're pretty good at this fooling business!

Re: Bungie - Destiny
OK folks, the video report will be a little later than usual, as I will be doing something a little ambitious for this week.
Also, there will be deleted scenes for the first time. If you've ever wondered what kind of stuff doesn't make the cut for my videos, well, wonder no more.
But the text report is ready to go, so here we are this week.
Xur is located in the Tower Hangar, just to the right of the stairs.
For the Titan, it's Peregrine Greaves. These were brought into Year 2 back in December, but a funny thing happened: they weren't in the Exotic kiosk. This was corrected earlier this week, so you can grab them there or here from Xur. More powerful shoulder charges in the air!
For the Hunter, it's the Celestial Nighthawk helmet. Makes golden gun a viable PVE super, but still not as useful as the other subclasses.
For the Warlock, it's the Obsidian Mind Helmet. Nova bombs for days!
No weapon this week because...
The engram this week is for gauntlets. Anybody not have all 9 of these already?
The legacy engram is for Helmets. Even I'm not buying one this week!
So there we go. Not much here. Stay tuned for the video version, coming up later...
And here we go, please enjoy The Xur Report this week, as we set sail on the high seas of love, with The Love Tower.
And here's the deleted scene. It answers the question as to why I refer to a random dude in the tower as my partner in the report, and it gives the sweeper bot a bit more screen time.
