Does it let you buy decorations and upgrades and such for it?

Re: Saints Row 4

Found a glitch that I can't seem to find any information on. Basically there's a level where you
Spoiler:
team up with both the present and past Shaundi and have to kill DJ Veteran Child. After killing his clones, it tells you to kill him (or finish him off, I can't remember) and there's a Y (or Triangle I assume for PS3) prompt.

The problem is, pressing it does nothing. Which means you can't finish the mission. He just sits there cowering. I tried reloading the check point, using different powers/weapons to kill the clones, spamming the Y button, pressing different buttons, shooting him, kicking him, etc. and keep getting the same result.

Now it's just a side quest, so it's not exactly game breaking, but there is a nice little reward you can't get without completing the mission.

Other than that, I've had two or three random freezes during play. But the game is great, and arguably the best of the series for me. At least the most fun. They ripped off so many games, it's not even fiunny.

About five hours in and loving it so far (I've only play SRIII and not the first two). It honestly feels exactly like a cross between Infamous and GTA.

With a healthy dose of Prototype.

Re: Saints Row 4

I spent an hour late last night and then another one this morning just jumping around collecting data clusters.

My son is playing now and he's unlocked some collectible finder that marks everything on the map.

I had so much fun just screwing around that I'm not even mad I wasted all that time.

Re: Saints Row 4

I did the same thing, spent around an hour getting the clusters to unlock the super powers.

Did run into 1 super powered funtime character... seemed indestructible - before I unlocked any powers

Isn't there metal on the modern rock station?

One song from In Flames... that's it. The Blood was sweet in Saints Row 3. The music stations in general in this one pretty much suck, you can really tell they wanted to spend a lot less money on music this time.

Re: Saints Row 4

I agree with the stations sucking. Outside the mix one, I rarely listen to anything else.

Re: Saints Row 4

I noticed last night that if you change the skin on the dubstep gun (there are two other options) it also changes the music. So freaking funny.

The pop music version is my favorite for the music.

Not liking much of the songs except for mix and classical. The best is hearing Zinyak reading classic literature

I wish they would've made a way to stream your own music to the game. Is there a way to do that? I'm on the PC version.

I turned off the radio via the settings before I even started the game.

It looked like there is, because one of the stations has some notes or something as an icon and doesn't play anything (I think there's another one for off). There's probably just a folder where you can drop MP3's into... if so I wish there was a more elegant solution.

Re: Saints Row 4

Wrapped it up last night. Total playtime about 24 hours for all missions. Very good stuff. Money well spent.

Re: Saints Row 4

I am at 10.5 hours played and 30% of the game complete. It is fun and funny... but it doesn't seem to have the variety that Saints Row the Third had. So far I haven't got to customize any place and I really enjoyed that part.

The super powers also make it so there is no real reason to mod out the vehicles so that part seems not as cool as well. Same with planes.

That being said, it is a ton of fun and feels like an awesome new Crackdown.

Re: Saints Row 4

I'm on one of the the final missions, too. It glitched on me though so I had to stop playing for now.

Once I'm done I'll probably trade it in. Don't really care about DLC.

Very fun game, though.

I was wrong about this. That's an option to create a custom playlist of the songs already in the game.

Those you get by freezing them.
