Will we have a thread to add one another or should we just do it here?
For what it's worth, mine is: Downhome
Add me when you want, and I'll accept whoever and I'll be adding names as they are posted either in this thread or another on, whatever we decide to do.
Transferring me and my wife's Mii's over was incredibly simple btw. I'll try the complete Wii to Wii U transfer soon.

I really want ZombiU but unless a deal pops up before now and Christmas I'll probably just use that money to get Wiimotes for the family instead.

Sooooo.... has anyone seen ZombieU in Toys R Us? I was planning on doing the B1G1 40% off with ZombieU and something else, but I can't find ZombieU on their website. So that makes the something else rather irrelevant.

Actually, that was one of the dumbest thing I've ever read. Why wouldn't I listen to and trust a reviewer who is on the same page as me and has never really steered me wrong before? Why shouldn't I listen to a consensus of a large number of reviews, all telling me to not waste my time with a game? Reviews are like a tool, you can use them or not, but in order for them to be most effective, you have to know how to use them.

Stupid question but do you even need to connect to the internet and update the system? Can i just hook it up and play a game right out of the box?

My Wii to Wii U transfer is almost completed, finally.
I love watching the little Pikmin working hard though. Load up in a rocket ship on the Wii then land safe and sound on my Wii U. It's cute, and the music has almost put me to sleep.

I'm kinda shocked both versions are still in stock in my area. I expected to see them on the shelf before Christmas but not today.

Has anyone had any issues connecting to their wifi? I remember having the same problem with my Wii when attempting to connect.

It seemed to go smoothly for me. I had a lot of missed/misregistered taps when typing in my code, though...I blame the touchscreen since I don't make mistakes.

Wait, so the transfer from Wii to Wii U is a copy and not a "goodbye Wii you are erased" type deal right? So you can keep the stuff on both consoles?

the rage is so funny..
Nintendo Network ID's are bound to one console...they are unable to move their ID's...it is not an option, so they all signed into the review Wii U and now can't take their ID's home...lol..

i like Giant Bomb. I have always valued Jeff G's opinion on games ever since he was at gamespot. he thinks like i do on most games.

Still not sure if I should buy this yet. I still haven't played Skyward Sword, and I'm enticed by the idea that Gamecube games may show up in the Virtual Store at some point. I'd really like to play Wind Waker also, the only two Zelda games I've never played nor beat. Also, any of the Mario stuff interests me. But, I've never seen any 3rd party games I've given a shit about since SNES. Not sure what to do. I've also had a DS and 3DS and loved them both.
