Scribblenauts is so close to being a must own series, it just needs a little fine tuning.

Pikmin 3 made the Top 10 for August on the NPD.
Not a single PS3 exclusive made the list. Could say the same with the Xbox 360 but Minecraft does not show the PC version like Final Fantasy does.

Not a big surprise, Tales of Xillia and Dragon's Crown aren't exactly big names. In fact, I've never heard of either one
Tales of... series is still nowhere near as big as Final Fantasy or Dragon Quest which seem to be the only two JRPGs that make a dent.

Yeah, there weren't any remotely noteworthy console exclusives in August other than Pikmin 3. Also, FFXIV outsold it despite Pikmin 3 having an almost 3 week headstart. I'm glad to see Pikmin 3 doing pretty well, but this isn't exactly cause for a ticker tape parade.

Pikmin 3 has sold nearly half a million worldwide, that's not shabby! Ticker Tape Parade!

Ticker tale parade is going to turn into a freakin' carnival once Wind Waker is released.

Well there is the B2G1 at Target next week on Wii U games as well, so it will probably help a little bit. I know I'll be picking up Pikmin 3 and some other games as well.

Oh, neat! The Wonderful 101 showed up today. I thought it was going to be here tomorrow, for some reason.
As hard a time as I've been giving Nintendo and the Wii U, I've gotten 10 games for it in the 10 months since launch, and I'm really happy with just about all of 'em!
Which games do you have now? If I'd seen the B2G1F deal before The Wonderful 101 shipped, I think I would've cancelled that from Amazon and bought it, Injustice, and Scribblenauts: Unmasked from Target. There are other games I'd recommend, but they're below e $60 mark and not so attractive for this deal.

I have yet to see Splinter Cell in stores. It seems Ubi sent out limited copies (1) to GameStops etc.

Wind Waker will sell well but I don't think it'll do particularly great numbers.
Now when
Comes out, it'll be a different story entirely.
this is the Wii U I want

I heard of one dude being able to get it at TRU. But others getting denied at Target so it won't break the street date.

re: The Wii U: From "cool" Sony to evil Nintendo
News is starting to flow out of TGS!
Wii Sports Club is an online, HD refresh of Wii Sports with a different sort of pricing model...play all the sports for 24 hours for $1.99 or buy unlimited use of a single sport for $9.99. With 5 sports, that means unlimited use basically makes it a full-price game, which I'm not crazy about, but if you only want Tennis and Bowling, or if you only see yourself playing once in a blue moon, that's pretty compelling.
Wii Fit U is free for a month, at least for those of us with a balance board already. A Fit Meter pedometer is being sold separately for $19.99, and it syncs with the game. You can walk through virtual streets with the Wii Street U app. There's a Wii Fit U Direct video too. Availability is staggered, with the free download coming 3 months before the regular eShop version. If you get the free download and then buy the $19.99 Fit Meter, you automatically get the full version of the game forever and ever. Crazy deal if you already have a balance board.

It's like paying for a timed demo, or online Redbox but only for a portion of the game?

$1.99 = 24 hours of unlimited play of all the sports
$9.99 = unlimited play with no time restriction of a single sport
No word yet if there'll be a bundle to get all the sports at a discount or if it'll be $49.95 to get all 5. Note that only Tennis and Bowling will be available at launch on November 7th.
