Re: Dragon Age III: Inquisition

It's looking stunning. I just hope it's truly as deep as DA:O.

Re: Dragon Age III: Inquisition

The trailer makes me want to go re-play 1 and 2. They're cheap on PC right now via Origin ($5.99 each), maybe i'll repurchase them so I don't have to keep them around for 360.

I'm currently replaying the previous two. Lots of wonderful mods for the first one.

Was the expansion pack Awakening worth it? I never played it, and not sure if i should pay the $14.99 for the ultimate edition and includes all the DLC and the expansion.

Yes. It's worth it. If the other DLC includes the Stone Golem (Shale) as well, it's worth it just for that.

I won't dissuade you from replaying the first game, since it's great, but you can just load up the add-on from the main menu. It imports a previous character and everything, since it takes place after the events of Origins.

Well I wouldn't be able to import a character since I originally played the game on 360, and i'm rebuying it on PC.

Gotcha. Wasn't sure if you were considering just getting the expansion for your 360 or not.

If you're gonna get it on PC, be sure to give these mods a whirl: http://girlplaysgame.com/2013/08/02/...ew-you-needed/

Re: Dragon Age III: Inquisition

IGN has a Q&A with the nearly 10 minutes of gameplay footage. I never did play the first two but have to say this sort of reminds me of Diablo III in 3rd person view with a rich story thrown in. Looks good....

Re: Dragon Age III: Inquisition

At this point anything being bumped out of October feels like a bit of a relief, to be honest.

Re: Dragon Age III: Inquisition

Why? Now it releases in the same month as Call of Duty AW, and Far Cry 4.

Re: Dragon Age III: Inquisition

Publishers need to knock this shit off. Wait for the developers to tell them it's complete and then announce a release date.

Because it was previously being released in the same month as Evolve, Assassin's Creed Unity, Sunset Overdrive, Alien: Isolation, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, Driveclub, Shadow of Mordor, The Evil Within, and Lords of the Fallen.

Sounds easy in practice, but honestly if that were the case games would never get done

Re: Dragon Age III: Inquisition

Apparently several game review sites in the US were sent the Spanish edition of the preview copy by mistake. I bet they weren't expecting that!
