The Adventures of Tintin (PS3/360/Wii/PC)

I know this is not exactly at the top of anyone's list. But this is one of those games where, even if I know it's not the best...I love the source material enough that I have to get the game. Anybody else ever feel that way for some other property?

Plus it seemed like it would be at least a fun adventure game. I haven't gotten a chance to play much yet.

Has anybody else tried it out?

After playing it for a little bit I'll say that the 2 player co-op is actually really well done. Good side scrolling action. The main game is fun as well, nothing too complex, and the plot diverges from the movie a bit, so there's an added bit of story. I also really like the music.

Cool, thanks for reporting. I'm such a fan that I'm sure I'll pick it up sometime too.

Nice, hope you enjoy it. We need more Tintin support, that movie isn't doing so hot at the box office!

I just beat the single player game, and it definitely is more like the comic than the movie in that certain characters don't even show up, and others take their "rightful" place, which I kind of liked. As said the 2-player is a lot of fun, and I look forward to exploring more of that this week.

I didn't really need the additional sell job, but that's a good one

I just picked this up at Target for $10 (online return item). I was surprised to find that it didn't completely suck. Sure, it's simplistic and too easy, but it's good looking for a movie tie-in and sort of fun to play. If my son were older we'd probably enjoy the MP together but at 5 he doesn't quite get it yet.

I played some of this recently. What a goofy little side-scroller. The slapstick tone is a good match for the source material, I think.

I used the controller instead of Kinect because I was feeling lazy. Not sure how much that would change the experience.

I played it with a 3D display recently and it actually looks quite good. The 2-D mixed with the depth is nice.
