Here's a way to get it for another $5 off at Gamestop.
http://www.kongregate.com/pages/lionheart-promo
You just need to download the app, open a Kongregate account, claim the coupon, and then the $5 off coupon will be emailed to you. It only took about 5 minutes for me to get the email.
This game just keeps getting cheaper.

It's different mediums.
The game it's 10 hours or so, because you keep dying.
I think it can be made into a 2 hours movie. TLOU, like all games, needs to have repetition, you keep killing the same monsters, over and over, your character "grows" over time, gets better weapons, etc. You don't need that in a movie.
Can they screw it? Of course. But the possibility of delivering a good movie is there.

I think TLOU can easily be condensed into a 2 1/2 hour film. They can add in the most important subtle nuances in different ways for a movie. If the movie misses some stuff I'll just pop in the disc and re-play it.

From GAF:
Clear comparison GIF here (didn't embed because it's a bit large).
Okay. So what I was teasing is that the 30 FPS lock in The Last of Remastered not only maintains a perfect framerate, but enables 'higher-quality shadows in-game'. And by higher-quality shadows they mean NOTICEABLY better shadows. The game looks better with the option enabled.

So, we all have a dilemma to face. I've tried both options, and while you might think 60 FPS is much better, it's not as easy of a decision as you think once you try enabling the 30 FPS lock.

I looked her up and she seems perfect. I was thinking Russel Crowe or Dylan Mcdermott for Joel.

watching some game streaming right now and while they may have made it prettier they did absolutely nothing to address the ridiculously horrible enemy A.I in this game

Comparison:
<iframe width="640" height="360" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/PnhP02oTnvQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
the differences are subtle in some places and obvious in others. 1080p is the most obvious change. People joke about resolution on this forum, but it makes a difference.
I'm not sure which current gen games look better than this. Not many.

Picked up my copy at lunch from Game Stop. Got some sort of a code for a "Survival Pack" since I pre-ordered it yesterday. Doesn't seem like a big deal, but it was a pleasant surprise nevertheless.

Simply amazing. Like Tomb Raider, playing it again at 60 fps makes it feel like a different game. While some of the textures were not update, the game looks amazing, but it is the feel that is so much better. First person shooters can get away with 30 fps, though I wish they all were 60. A locked 30 fps with good motion blur is just fine though. Third persons shooters for me just feel wrong at 30 fps. Your character tends to feel like it floats in the environment at 30 fps.....
I am having a blast with it, and I am so glad I held off doing a survival run on my ps3 version for this.

Never had a PS3, never played this prior. Absolutely LOVE it on the PS4 and I am very tired today...
Looks incredible, and it's a very engrossing game. Just awesome.

re: The Last of Us (PS3 and PS4)
I am over half way done with my first run. I played this only once on the ps3, and while I loved it a few things kept it from being my favorite game of the year. A few of those things still bother me, but because this is my second run I am much better at what I need to do, and the 60 fps makes controlling and combat much less frustrating.
Some nitpicks that carry over from my first run...
Enemy patterns cheat to make it seem more intense. If you are in a town, or a room or a stadium, enemies will work their way toward you in some sort of soft magnet like attraction. There was one part in particular where I was below a group and I had two ways up..I go one way up only to see 6 guys walking toward the stairs...I go down and walk 200 yards to the other way up, and those 6 guys decided to walk toward those stairs as a group (they were not aware of me) You can exploit this, like I did in the first game, when I was in a town in a house in a closet and all 8-10 people walked slowly to my closet one by one so I could stealth takedown them. Also, clickers will walk in a pattern but if you slowly move past them, with your back turn, they will move toward you..to get around this walk backwards away from them so the game does not try to surprise you. That same clicker will continue on his old pattern if you keep eye contact.
I also don't like how many enemies there are. I think the game would have been better with less enemies and higher difficulty. This especially gets bad late in the game...
I appreciate supplies being limited, but if a guy is coming toward me with a bat, and I kill him, that bat should be available for me to pick up. Same with guns and the like. The problem is these things disappear from the environment 80% of the time. My first thought was they could have lowered supply items in the game and had you pick them up from enemies more, but I think they did this because they knew they had so many enemies in the game that you would never run out of ammo if you could always pick it up from them.
Just little things, the game is still brilliant, and in its current form on the ps4 would have been my favorite game of the year. It might be this year if Far Cry 4, Dragon Age or Shadows of M turn out bad.

I just got this game delivered from Amazon.ca for $49 taxes included thanks to the E3 pre-order sale they had back in May. Actually I think that I should get some credit since the price has dropped since I ordered.
I'm getting my PS4 today and can't wait to play this since I never played the PS3 version.

I picked up my copy Wednesday but waiting till next week to play while a friend is off a full week....she just got the PS4 and playing Warframe. Never played the first (had a 360) and doing my best from reading any reviews from players. When I start playing I'll post my thoughts....looking forward to playing this.
