How can I deactivate a dead PS3 on my PC?
I am trying to d/l a movie thru PSN, and it says that my account already has another PS3 activated for video content. That was my old PS3 that ended up dying and is a paperweight. So how do I deactivate that one in the system and activate my new one so that I can d/l video content?? I looked online, but all I see is a lot of bitching, and no real answers.
Thanks!
Thanks!

As of this moment you have to call in to Sony's customer service line, though the PS3 blog promises a way soon to deactivate a PS3 from a computer.

No, that's not true. You can go to
http://www.qriocity.com/us/en/
Log in and select ps3 systems and then deactivate on it. Should work just fine.

For video content you can also create another profile on the working PS3 and DL it through that. The PS3 isn't blocked, just the profile.

Actually, once you choose the system and try to deactivate it, it will tell you it has to be done from the XMB of the PS3. It can't be done from a PSP or PC.
