You can hook up an external drive to a WiiU?

^Also at Amazon.

Amazon also has the 3DS Giants Portal Owners pack for $14.96. Good price if you need/want a extra Tree Rex.

And Amazon now has Lightcore Hex - $11.99.

re: Skylanders, Anyone?

I'm thinking of returning my 3DS and Wii versions and getting the WiiU Dark Edition and the SMB WiiU bundle. Then I can get the Nitro Magna Charge pack with Rattle Shake and then get Legendary Free Ranger.

Yeah, I think that'll be good.

That's the basic version though right?

If you are brave, they are also selling the Swap Force starter kit for $37.99 on Thurs from 5-9.

re: Skylanders, Anyone?

Hi Guys, read through recent posts with interest as a skylander collector. Gearing up for swap force in xmas 2013

89 unique figures to date and a few doublers still in packs - if there are any swappers out there.

Does anybody know if there was a series 2 Boomer or Voodood. I've been looking on ebay but have not seen oeither.

No. Those were S1 only. Here's a site that shows all available characters and variants.

re: Skylanders, Anyone?

What is the point of the new Frito Lay promotion if the code is on the outside of the package and is the same code on multiple packages? Once you enter it the code it says that the code has already been used.

There was many on there that I wasn't aware of. Sad now, I've not got them!

I wondered that myself. Being on the outside what's to stop a enterprising person from just writing down all the different ones they see in an effort to get the max allowable? No purchase necessary...

A contest where you could win a new version of Rattle Shake but the codes are one the outside of the packages and oftentimes the same on many packages. The code can only be used once. The stupid promotion ever. It is just ahead of the Taco Bell/Ps4 promotion where the code is also on the outside of the box.

re: Skylanders, Anyone?

I haven't had any problems with the TB promo, but the Halo 4 codes on the outside of the Dorito bags was absurd. I caught a guy with a cart of a dozen bags of doritos. He was taking photos of all the codes and just putting the doritos back on the shelf.

The sad part is at the one store I've seen these packages *all* of them had the exact same code. If it's a truly one-time-use code it's absurd! You would have to carry around codes while looking for a different one just to be able to try again.

Are you sure it's not a *once per day* use by the same email?

re: Skylanders, Anyone?

I had never input the code before and when I did it said that the code had already been used. This promotion is ridiculous considering the number of scalpers out there that would definitely take advantage of this and then rake you over the coals if you want to buy the figure they scammed to get.

re: Skylanders, Anyone?

^I got a code and tried yesterday. Didn't win so tried it again. Got a "ony one per day" message so I used the same code with a different email. That worked (didn't win though) so I "entered" with 2 other addresses I have (started to generate more but nah...).

Today I tried again and was able to "play" again with the same code from yesterday with the same 4 email addresses. I still didn't win but it looks like any code *should* work at least once per day per email address.

I did *not* have to clear cookies or do anything "special" for this method. It just worked.

re: Skylanders, Anyone?

I don't know if I can justify the GameStop Exclusive Dark Edition on BF. Wal-Mart has the regular version apparently starting on Thanksgiving (or at least by Friday am) for $38.96. Since Amazon normally price matches WM I fully expect to be able to pick up one from them, if not WM, sometime Thanksgiving day. It's hard to drop an extra $40 for those 5 variant characters...

I am still debating if I should even buy this game. So far I have managed to stay away from all the store exclusive figures. If they do sidekicks again I will probably have to order them just so I have them...

The grandkids *really* want it so I've purchased all the store exclusives so far - other than the Dark Edition. At this point I'm pretty well committed... (or *should be* committed...)
