Re: Skylanders, Anyone?

My daughter wanted to stage her characters and have me take some pics. Here is a pic of her collection.

Re: Skylanders, Anyone?

I just showed that picture to my son. He said "Wow! He must have every single Skylander. I want to look at it forever". So you have at least one fan of your photography.

Sweet! Tell him that we don't have any of the silver or golds nor any of the exclusive ones to toy fairs. We do have the blue bash though and all 4 of the legendary figures. The only one we are missing is Wham Shell and then my wallet will take a break for a bit.

Re: Skylanders, Anyone?

I just picked up the Dragon's Peak set at Sam's Club. They had all of the adventure sets, and quite a few character 3 packs although none of the newer ones.

Re: Skylanders, Anyone?

Just picked up Dragon's Peak myself at Target. My son should be set for his upcoming birthday.

Re: Skylanders, Anyone?

Does that mean you now have 26 figures, or are you counting all those rare and legendary figures as well?

I'm ignoring all the repaints and such. I have no real interest in those.

Re: Skylanders, Anyone?

Me neither. There's enough regular guys to keep us busy looking for a while.

After my son's upcoming birthday haul (Dragon's Peak, Darklight Crypt, Empire of Ice and the Zook, Cynder, Lightning Rod 3 pack), I think I'd still need Wrecking Ball, Dino-Rang, Wham-Shell and the last 3pack of Camo, Warnado and Igniter to finish all the base guys. Don't know if I'll actually pick them all up, but we're getting closer. Actually, I guess that'll put us in exactly the same spot as you -- six more to go.

Re: Skylanders, Anyone?

I think we are missing the exact same figures actually. I need the Wrecking-Ball 3 pack and the newest one (also missing the current TRU Exclusive level pack). I have yet to even beat the 360 game so I'm in no rush to get the rest. My wife just really wanted the Stump Smash figure (I think she has more fun with these then I do) so we grabbed the 3 pack with some credit I had.

Not looking forward to Giants...I expect them to be much more expensive.

Dragon's Peak is out in the "wild" now, if a retailer gets a shipment of the adventure packs that one will be in the carton now too. I found it at Sam's Club, and I think Decker said he found it at Target.

Re: Skylanders, Anyone?

We just need Wham Shell, Warnado, and Camo.

I don't have the Legendaries, nor any Gold and Silver ones, nor do I think I'm going to bother.

Re: Skylanders, Anyone?

Snagged the Zook, Cynder, Lightning Rod 3-pack over the weekend. We should only need 7 more figures. We need Wham Shell, Slam Bam, Bash, Warnado, Camo, Ignitor & Sunburn.

When did Target up their prices to 9.99/24.99? They had some new singles, but I wasn't going to bite at 10 bucks a pop...

Game Stop had the same prices, I guess they figure since it is so popular now they can raise the prices.

Re: Skylanders, Anyone?

^GameStop has had the inflated prices for months on the singles - almost as long as TRU. That's new at Target - but a couple of weeks ago (the last time I was at Target) the prices here were still $7.99/$19.99. I may run by tomorrow to see if prices here went up too as it's only a small detour on the way to the comic store.

I just picked up the Camo, Ignitor and Warnado 3 pack from Gamestop last Friday for 19.99 plus tax.

Re: Skylanders, Anyone?

The Target here still has singles at $8.99 and the Adventure Packs/Three Packs at $19.99. There was nothing "new" on the shelves - nor at WM. Both had the same stock/figures they had the last time I looked which was a week or so back.

Re: Skylanders, Anyone?

Thanks to Zoolerts, I just picked up the Warnado, Ignitor and Camo three pack from Amazon. Add that (and all the other Skylanders he's getting for his birthday from his family) to the Dino-Rang that I'm putting on his birthday cake (along with a Sonic action figure), and we'll only be Wham-Shell and Wrecking Ball away from a full set.

Re: Skylanders, Anyone?

Managed to snag a copy of the Warnado/Ignitor/Camo 3-pack from Amazon last Friday. That means I can return that single of Ignitor I picked up just-in-case. I also got in on the Dragon’s Peak Adventure Pack pre-order from Amazon on May 5th. If that order isn't cancelled it leaves only the Wham Shell single and I'm *done* until "Giants" hits the street...

I sincerely hope TRU has *zero* exclusive figures with Giants. While I *did* cave and pick up the Legendary Characters for this one I don't know if I'll be willing to do that again.

Re: Skylanders, Anyone?

Warnado and Camo were in stock at Walmart.com last night (thanks zoolerts!) so I snagged them via site-to-store.

Just missing Wham Shell now...

... well, until Giants comes out.

Re: Skylanders, Anyone?

So...has anyone heard any info on when Wham Shell is supposed to come out? I am tired of my kid asking me. And what's with the weird release times? It's odd.

I've got a Zoolert text notification set up for Wham Shell from Walmart, but every time I get one the item is OOS.

I think it's a glitch.
