Now gonna take my giant bank accounts, but some property, complete the side missions and explore the map. There are big chunks I haven't even seen yet.
The map is so vast, that even after you get the trophy for exploring it all, there are still probably parts you haven't seen. I was driving around, and I saw a store in the desert with a big dinosaur and volcano on the roof. Hadn't seen it before. Plus there's all the underwater areas and the subway system.

There were a number of sites in the credits that I'd never seen, including that one. Need to hunt it down. Also realized I'd never made it up to one of the blimps.

Lots of exploring left.

You do have to buy stocks at some point for 100% completion. And it's also the quickest and easiest way to spend $200 million for that trophy. Buy a bunch of stock...sell it right back, rinse and repeat.

Re: Grand Theft Auto 5 to a V

how do you save?

i went through the entire opening scene, the beginning credits, and then had to chase Lamar in car on first driving mission and didn't complete. saw the insignia that it saved.

didn't know how to end game, so i just shut off console i believe.

thanks.

Open the phone and choose the "Cloud" icon. Or go to bed.

The game will also auto-save after missions.

The opening is a bit different. If you quit any time before it lets you loose on the map, you have to start all the way at the beginning. Happened to me when the game locked up on my way back to Simeon's.

Re: Grand Theft Auto 5 to a V

I hate knife flights!

Well, I hated the last one anyway. Took me nearly 2 hours to get that last one done. But yay! Got all 15. Now I need 35 bridges, 47 letter scraps, 46 spaceship parts, and 100% completion will be mine!

I guess technically I only need 10 more bridges for 100%, but that won't get me all the trophies. They made 100% in game completion less than actually completing 100% of the game.

Re: Grand Theft Auto 5 to a V

And the bridges are out of the way. There are two really hard ones where you have to skim just above the water. They are right next to each other though.

Now I'm down to scavenging for scraps and parts. Oh, and the stunt jumps...those should be a blast!

I've had the cops show up because I was kicking my own car. They need to patch it.

Foreign or domestic car? If it is the latter then it is domestic violence and you should go to jail.

Re: Grand Theft Auto 5 to a V

What's up with the car damage modeling in this game? It's a real step back from GTA IV and the most disappointing part of this release. I can slam into another car head first at full speed and both cars barely get a dent in the fender. Big crashes are boring now.

Otherwise I'm loving the game.

I like how Trevor is almost exactly like a bored GTA player looking for something to do. You switch to him and he's in the middle of a police chase or fighting with some bodybuilders...

Re: Grand Theft Auto 5 to a V

Wrapped up the storyline last night. My first GTA game and that was frankly amazing. I was only at 59% completion and feel like I only touched a minor fraction of what the game can do. This is a real rare one for me in that I really can't wait for some DLC to do more storyline stuff in the world. But until then I think this is gonna be the first game in quite some time that I'm gonna try to 100%.

I was watching one of the stock prices, waiting to sell when it got high enough, so switched to him to pass a bit of relaxing time spent exploring.

Stupid bastard was in a three-star police chase on the highway.

My favorite was when I switched over to find him waking up on an island in his underwear, surrounded by dead bikers.

I'm trying to figure out what movie/tv character that they modeled Lester after..but I am not quite pinpointing it.

I would bet on las venturas being the setting for the next DLC /expansion pack. Casino Heist!

Re: Grand Theft Auto 5 to a V

Based on Rockstar's track record I would not expect new areas in DLC, but rather new adventures on the existing map.

The same thing happened to me! Well, not exactly the same - actually I was trying to quickly buy after an assassination mission. I guess he's not built to be a day trader.

I switched over to Trevor last night and he was at the top of a mountain in a girls dress with a bottle of whiskey. 10 seconds later i got attacked by a mountain lion. I am loving switching over just to see what mess he is in each time.
