They sure do pick some useless shit to give you for GTA collector's editions. A shitty New Era (THE worst hat makers in the business) cap and a fucking security deposit bag, really? And last game it was like a foot locker or something.

If you follow the preorder link on the page I linked,, and you go to the collector's edition, the only two options are Rockstar and Gamestop.
Then, if you go to gamestop:
GTA V Collector's Edition
They actually refer to it as a Gamestop exclusive.

Looks good but sucks that it won't be a next gen game. Some of the graphics/animations in that trailer already show some age

Re: Grand Theft Auto 5 to a V
Pretty sure I'm done with this franchise. I find that I'm overwhelmed by the montonony. I'm pretty sure I finished GTA IV and even played a bit online. It was impressive, but I'm not sure it was fun. And It was bad enough dating fetch quests...now I have whining kids?? Ugh. Oh, hold on, Roman's calling me to play fucking darts.
I've found that tighter open world games with more action are more appealing to me...games like Saints Row, Arkham City, Assassin's Creed and Infamous.
But it's nice to hear that they maybe fixed the shitty controls.

Graphics look fine to me. Haven't been this excited for a GTA game since San Andreas. Maybe it's the California in me
Looks like there's a ton to do. I have to pre-order now.

Yeah, I canceled my $45 preorder with NewEgg. With all of the good things I've been hearing lately about Saints Row 2 & 3, I want to play those first. So I'll pick this up down the road once it hits $20 or so. I'm in no hurry and still have hopes that it lands on the One or PS4 sometime, maybe as a GOTY edition or something.

There's some goofy stuff with Shaundi in the SR4 trailer that probably makes little to no sense if you haven't played SR2.

While that trailer looks good, I hope they fix one of the big problems with the GTA4 missions. I didn't like how "on-rails" a lot of the missions felt.
I'll give an example. I remember in GTA:SA there was a mission where you had to kill a guy, as usual, but when you enter the building he runs out the back and tries to escape on a bike. If you destroyed the bike before the mission, he would try to escape on foot, making the mission obviously easier.
However in 4, if that mission were repeated, that bike is GOING to be there. And also, you are going to HAVE to chase that person, and stay alive, until they lose control and fly off a ramp and through a billboard where it changes to a cut scene and he pleads for his life while laying on the ground in a heap.
From watching the clips, it seems like they are going to continue with the "planned" missions where there is only an illusion of how you tackle the mission. I hope I'm wrong about that.
Also, I don't see how the controls look fixed. Is there better auto-aim? That looked like mouse aiming to me.
