Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 (PS3, 360...)

While in the COD MW3 mp menu, hit y so you see your friends. Then scroll to the right and you will see all recent players. Scroll down to you find the gamertag, click on it and hit report player. Use it for boosting or cheating.

Encountered my first two damage glitchers last night.

It's one thing to kill them on the opposing team.. it's another to team kill a camper because you hate the way they play.

There were times when I'm sniping and random assholes on my team would want to run and gun, but because I'm camping they instead turn around and tea bag me basically getting into my line of sight, look straight at me, point the barrel of their weapon to my face. I end up shooting thru them killing an enemy behind them, but they respawn just to kill me instead.

The main cheating exploit that is going on. When you get killed, check their killcam and if the damage icon proficiency is on any gun other than a shotgun, they are cheating. Report them and leave the lobby.

It is getting fixed in the next patch.

I've played both today, some TD and some private FFA to get a feel.

Liberation is a big open sniper fest, and on regular TD (12 player) seemed almost too big. I also had a deja vu moment the first time as it reminded me a lot of the Operation Metro map from the Battlefield 3 beta. This map also has 2 mounted turrets on opposite ends of the map.

Piazza is very vertical, freaking stairs everywhere. It lives up to the run & gun hype as it's really fast paced, and there always seemed to be someone around me.

I didn't get that vibe from it. In Wasteland I always felt it was a slaughter fest down in the tunnel, but you had that impassable ridge that you always had to trek around above to get anywhere.

Liberation sort of reminds me of Zoo from BO. I never sniped before, but after playing Liberation for the first time, I made a sniper class. Piazza is just stairs and sharp turns. There are very few long lines of sight, and in the several games I played, I couldn't even shoot down a chopper with a Jav without getting killed first.

Activision posted the content calendar today showing what Elite members could expect each coming month.

February: Map
March: Map, two missions
April: Two maps
May: Map, mission
June: Map, mission, mode
July: Two maps
August: Map, mission, mode
September: Map, mission

So 12 maps, 6 missions, and 2 new modes.

That's actually kind of weak. I'd rather have all maps. They can keep their missions and modes.

Meh. I was so disappointed with MW3 that I just couldn't pull the trigger on Elite. While the game has grown on me a bit, I can't imagine plunking down another $50 for it.

I was disappointed at first, but now it is near my favorite COD ever.

I just wish they would get rid of the deathstreaks, fix the atrocious knifing, possibly bring back a specialty perk requiring players to choose one of the big 3, etc...

Knifing has been such as issue since MW2, very frustrating. I think you should have to select a knife as your secondary weapon to be able to stab someone, or even a 'melee' perk of some kind.

My first change would be...the moment you take a shot, your knifing lunge should be disabled. Or, two hits from the front and one from the back.

Either way, the knifing needs serious reworking. It is a mess.

spec ops done..game complete...

Overall I think the spec ops was my favorite part of MW3...I would have no problem paying full price for just spec ops missions...my friend and I just love them....

I hope the new spec ops dlc holds up the same quality...

I decided to go down the Elite road last night. I d/l the maps but none of them came up as an option to play yet.

Are you picking one of the Elite playlist? If so they should pop up very frequently. I play mostly Team Deathmatch, and one of the two map choices before the round is Liberation or Piazza.
