Moving a PS3 to a non-HDMI connection?

I'm taking my PS3 to a place where the best TV might have composite or Svideo connections at best (or component). I'm going to pick up a cord at gamestop or BB but is there some other setup you have to do to tell the PS3 to use the other resolution?

I remember trying this one time years ago and only got a blank screen. Someone said you had to hold down the power button or something to 'reset' the video connection.

These are the TVs. Who knows what inputs they could have.

If you have access to a tv with an hdmi connection, you can go to the display settings and switch it to use the other display format.

* Make sure the system is off.
* Hold down the Power Button for 5-6 seconds - until you hear the second beep.
* That's it, your video settings are reset and you should be able to choose your input and configure it from there.
Don't buy a cable that's specifically labeled as PS3 as they will charge you more. The composite cable connector hasn't changed from PS1 or PS2 days. Also, your PS3 should have come with the composite connector, so you may have it in the box still.
