Nail'd (PS3/360) - "Excitebike On Crack"
Anyone pick up Nail'd? Just got the latest Game Informer magazine and saw the review (8 out of 10). It's the first I've heard of it.
Looks like some ridiculous fun. Probably not worth full retail price. I'll wait until it hits the $20-$15 range.

I had to laugh because there's a link to the Video Game Talk nail'd review about two inches above your post pop-up with a picture of the box art as well.

The game looks decent, but like you said a $20 purchase. There is some crazy fish eye'd lense stuff going on with the backgrounds there.
I wonder if it's better than the excellent Pure?

I rented it on my game pass last month. It was fun, but it had a lot of issues. Specifically a blur effect that made it tough to see where you were going, and some uneven track designs.
I wrote a lengthy review of it, as my first review on my blog.

Re: Nail'd (PS3/360) - "Excitebike On Crack"
The demo's out now on the 360. I thought it was pretty fun and completely over the top. I'd like to see an aerial view of those maps. I bet they'd look like an MC Escher drawing.
Definitely gonna pick it up with it hits the $15-20 range. Shouldn't be too long. I've already seen it in the $25-30 range.

Re: Nail'd (PS3/360) - "Excitebike On Crack"
Tried the demo today. Didn't dig it. It feels like an inferior version of Pure. It's very fast, but at the expense of detail -- it's very blurry and hard to see. Also the "verticality" of the tracks felt disorienting to me, and throwing in obstacles like working buzz saws was just stupid.. There were times I couldn't figure out where to go and there were others where it looked like I had landed cleanly and my ATV exploded for some reason. It's still kind if cool looking, but I'm putting that $16 towards Motorstorm Armageddon instead.
