So the $25.99 was a typo.

I wouldn't necessarily attribute the $25.99 price to a typo. Sometimes stores will give promo items unreasonable prices so they can exist as normal SKUs alongside for-sale products while simultaneously discouraging purchases outside the promo.
I never got my redemption code but Amazon.com customer service got back to me and told me to order it and they'd refund the $2.99.
I usually buy my games at Gamestop due to exclusive in-game preorder items (plus the mall opens a good 5 hours earlier than UPS delivers which is significant when you have a day off from work) but between the lack of such bonuses on the Lego games and Amazon.com's $10 credits I was able to get Lego Star Wars III, Lego Pirates, Lego Harry Potter and a free Lego minifig for $95.34.

I waited until Tuesday, and I received my $50 GC from Amazon for my new 360 I bought Friday. They still had the $10 promo going on Tuesday morning so I grabbed it there.

I kind of wish they had waited to release this. On Stranger Tides is in this, so there might be spoilers somewhat if you play that one.

No mini figure for me, but I missed that offer completely, never saw it.

Just email Amazon and ask for it. I bet they'll give it to you.
I am going to hold off on playing On Stranger Tides til I see it in theaters.

It's confirmed: http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/...d.php?t=290191
K-Mart employees don't know shit about their deals. The computers, however, do.

Yeah, the computer system was down yesterday and it didn't print my coupon, but I showed the clerk their Gamer Blog and they gave me a $15 gift card instead.

I've never had that problem with my K-Marts.
Seriously, though, that sucks. But the guy in charge of dealing with K-Mart VG deals (SHC-Gamer at CAG or Josh Deane at Facebook) is truly our friend. Or the anti-Christ.

I know, I was being facetious That's the one I go to too. Besides the fact it's just right there, there's no way in hell I'd fight the construction to hit the mid-town one.

I encountered a game-killing bug that caused the system to freeze up near the end of the Tortuga level. I was thrilled with that. Nine Lego games in and we still don't have a mid-level save (or of course, online play). Gotta give Traveler's Tale credit -- they sure stick to their guns.

That sucks. Is it truly game-killing or just that level? Did you get through it attempting again?
What really irks me about the Lego games are all the glitchy achievements, especially when it requires 25 hours to get them all legitimately and they sort of build off each other to the 100% one. When one thing doesn't save properly to give you credit but the game saves that it's been done so you can't redo it, that's the worst. And these bugs crop up in every game!
In Harry Potter I had one or two missing Student In Perils that I did do, but never got credit for. That prevented me from getting that achievement, some version of Voldemort (which tied to 2 or 3 other achievements), as well as the overall 100% achievement. I had to play through the whole thing again to get everything, but I had no problem using cheats from the beginning and just speed-running it.

Sorry. Bad phrasing. It was just a freeze-up. But after putting in a half-hour into that level, I turned the xbox off in frustration. There's no reason on earth that they can't use a quick-save function or checkpoint system. It's really annoying in this day and age. Especially for a game that's designed to be played with kids, some of whom don't have a super-long attention span. It would be one thing if the levels were all short, but they can go pretty long here.

I've never read a Harry Potter book or seen a Harry Potter movie and I kinda wish they would have waited until I did before releasing that game.
