Re: What are you playing? (November 2010)

Back to playing Battlefield Bad Company 2. After playing Medal Of Honor, I started up another game of BBC2 and realized how bad MOH was in terms of gameplay. Anyhow...once I am finished with BBC2 for the second time, I recently picked up Rainbow Six Vegas 2 from Target in their clearance section so I will be starting it shortly.

Just finished Rainbow Six Vegas 2 over the weekend and still trying to get through DMC4. Will probably start up Alan Wake here soon.

Fable 3: Pretty early on but not as impressed as i was with 1`and 2.

Super Meat Boy: Even though hard as hell, loving it.

Super Mario Galaxy 2: Was hoping to start last month but got caught up with other games. Will start tonight.

Playing Fable 3 with the hope of finishing up by 11/16 to switch to Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.

My assessment of the game so far pretty much matches mhg83.

NBA 2K10 - May be the best sports game of all-time.

Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec (PS2) - I never got my S license on this game and gave up years ago. Pretty much all I have left is the S license races at the end of the game that I cannot access due to no S license. It's very frustrating. Touch one wall or make one mistake and you fail the test.

Re: What are you playing? (November 2010)

Just Finished:
Limbo (360) - Amazing game start to finish, it's one of those games that makes you feel like a genius just pushing a few blocks around.

Retro Game Challenge (ds) - Not many of the games were worth playing besides the challenges.

Now Playing:
Kane and Lynch 2 (pc) - I actually really enjoyed the first level, but after that it devolved into a pretty standard cover based shooter. The aiming feels really inaccurate.

GTA IV Lost and the Damned (360)

Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story - Interesting Concept but the writing and story seem weaker in execution than the previous games.

Re: What are you playing? (November 2010)

Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec (PS2)
Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (PS2)
Capcom Vs. SNK 2: Mark Of The Millennium 2001 (PS2)

I need to get back to Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, Super Mario Galaxy 2, and Kirby's Epic Yarn.

Re: What are you playing? (November 2010)

I love Batman Returns for the SNES. I played through that game SO many times. I wish I could find my copy.

What I'm playing:
Batman Arkham Asylum - Close to beating this one.
Assassin's Creed - Just started it.
Assassin's Creed:Brotherhood - Just the multiplayer for now, until I beat the first two games.
MLB 10:The Show - Just advanced to the World Series last night. Will probably keep playing this game all the way until the next one is released.
WWE Smack Down vs. Raw

And this time next week I will be playing Gran Turismo 5!

Re: What are you playing? (November 2010)

Finally treated myself to LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues for the Wii. I saw earlier tonight they've announced a Pirates of the Caribbean game for a Spring release. In a perfect world, all these LEGO games would interact and I could have Indiana Jones and Chewbacca drive the Batmobile around a pirate ship.

Re: What are you playing? (November 2010)

Cranking through Dragon Age: Origins, and absolutely loving just about everything that BioWare crammed into it. You know you're into an RPG when you make the conscientious decision to simply sit by a campfire and listen to a bard tell stories of the world. Overwhelmed with the characters, the storytelling, and the way the quests tie into both. Have a few nit-picks about the inventory system and the stark difference in difficulty levels, but otherwise ...

Plus, the complex, densely-rooted choices you're poised with -- ones with, you know, actual consequences -- are certainly filling a gap that was left by the previous action-RPG I plowed through.
