weird, i didn't have to do that. I must've already sold my soul to EA in another game.

^^ This is not enough to make me keep the game. The MP is broken compared to BC2 IMO. How does Dice put together the stellar MP in BC2 and then follow it up with this Cleveland Steamer?

Maybe they didn't want it to be too similiar to BFBC2 so as to not split the community?

Maybe. I think they spit the game out as fast as they could before CoD came out. It just feels half done.

Re: Medal of Honor (360/PS3/Wii/PC: 10/12/10)

Finished last night. The single player was far better than the 6.0 IGN gave it... I'd give it an 8.0 and I was fine with the length of play. There were some genuinely tense moments and I thought the story was pretty well done (at least I could follow it, I can never seem to figure out the CoD stories).
That said, I'm still selling it

Re: Medal of Honor (360/PS3/Wii/PC: 10/12/10)

I really been enjoying the mp, mostly just sector control and Team assault. Some of the objective modes and combat missions really suffer from unbalanced and badly designed maps though. I tend not to play them that much. Too many spawn campers and the game does a bad job spawning you in the worst open spots.

But I still am loving MP. Guns feel and sound awesome and really love some of the maps in team assault. You really can tell two studios developed the game cause after playing alot of MP the single player controls feel off compared to mp

Traded mine in for credit to put against Black Ops.

You know it makes sense.

I am usually one to be fine with length of play when others complain about it being too short however this game was ridiculous. When I finished the game, I could hardly believe the credits were rolling already...and that was on the hardest level. I already stated earlier in this thread that IGN's 6.0 was not a fair assessment and Gamespot's 7.5 was more accurate so we are on both on the same page in relation to quality of the game. What made me realize this game is worse then my initial feelings upon completion was placing Battlefield Bad Company 2 into my PS3 yesterday morning and beginning a whole new campaign. After playing the first quarter of BBC 2, Medal Of Honor is pretty bad if one would compare the two. How a company can make both games and leave one game with so much to be desired is beyond me. Medal Of Honor is a $20.00 purchase at best....IMO.

Re: Medal of Honor (360/PS3/Wii/PC: 10/12/10)

After playing through the single player twice, I finally fired up the multiplayer. I haven't noticed any problems the past two nights. I can easily get into a game and haven't noticed any lag. So if you gave up because of tech problems, you might want to try again. Battlefield multiplayer is always screwed up the first week or two.

Battlefield Bad Company 2 had horrible lag for a long time. I havent experienced any lag in Medal of Honor.

I see it's already gone to $39.99 on Amazon. That sure didn't take long (but it's about right).

Just checked. It's 800 space bucks.

What a fucking joke. The game just came out 2 weeks ago. This shit should have been included on the disc. Way to rape your customers.

I ain't buying it. Been enjoying the MP. But this is a really lame move. COD comes out in a few days and this game will be a distant memory.

Re: Medal of Honor (360/PS3/Wii/PC: 10/12/10)

I just finished the Single Player campaign. I thought it was great! The graphics were top notch and the scenery on the Afghan mountain top was breathtaking and I had a few "HOLY SHIT" moments more then once, the first one coming when I decided to bust out the shotgun in close quarters. The sound was really well done too, the way explosions sounded and when bullets would crack when they when by your head and the way the characters voices sounds when they would talk into the radio but it would change to their actual voice when you got up close to them.

But despite how well done it was, it was way too short, I finished the whole single player campaign and even mopped up some of the single player achievements in just under 4 hours. Luckily I had just borrowed this from a friend, I'd be pretty annoyed if I had shelled out 60 bucks for it. Well on to the COD now. Think I'll skip the multiplayer on this one.

What difficulty did you play it on? I breezed through the first few areas in hour on "Hard" and its the easiest experience I've ever had playing on the hardest difficulty in any game.

Anyone playing this on anything but the hardest level should stop playing video games. This game has it's moments but it is far from being top notch as some here have described their experience. If you need to see just how bad MOH is compared to a "real" top notch video game look no further then Battlefield Bad Company 2 released by the same company. Thank goodness I bought this from Amazon with the $20.00 video game credit and sold it on ebay to recoup what I felt was a loss. I started another campaign in BBC2 after I finished MOH and realized then just how bad MOH is in terms of presentation and story. Some of the missions were good but most were pretty bad leaving much to be desired. I liked MOH enough I will probably pick it up down the road when it hits the $20.00 or lower mark. It is not worth much more than that....

My God the multi-player on this game is terrible. I'm not a CoD fanboy, but their MP is unquestionably better.

I wouldn't say that it is terrible. Just not nearly as good as CoD.

Re: Medal of Honor (360/PS3/Wii/PC: 10/12/10)

I had a chance to play it before it was released due to a friend who works at a video store, who was able to rent it a few days early. I had high hopes for it, but decided to just rent it after playing it (single player only then.) I'm glad I didn't buy it, which I had been thinking about. As others mentioned, the multiplayer sucked ass.

The campaign was pretty good, but it was quite brief and had some annoying issues/glitches. It was definitely above-average though. I enjoyed playing through it on hard (although it wasn't very difficult,) but had no interest in playing the multiplayer much.
