I think they should go with this...

<object width="512" height="288"><param name="movie" value="http://www.hulu.com/embed/w_jiq9MPxnX93RxlZJsUKg"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.hulu.com/embed/w_jiq9MPxnX93RxlZJsUKg" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="512" height="288" allowFullScreen="true"></embed></object>

They could have a game where you have to blaze a trail, say to Oregon. Along the way you'd fight Indians, cross wild rivers that could damage your covered wagon, and your biggest threat of death would be from dysentery.

I wish they'd keep putting out episodic DLC like with GTAIV. There are so damn many possibilities for awesome new stories.

Ironic that the first post was zombies seeing as how Undead Nightmare was released in a stand alone version.

I havent played this yet, but how about a game featuring the real life legends of the wild west. Billy the Kid, Doc Holiday, Wyatt Earp, etc. None of these were in Redemption correct?

None of them killed hundreds/thousands of people, jumped their horses off of ravines, singlehandedly caused the extinction of buffalo, set fire to prostitutes, dragged dead carcases across a desert, killed hordes of the undead and caused a Mexican revolution all while remaining true to their wife. The game would be primed to fail.

ok fine then, how about the main character gets transported to modern day New Jersey and meets the Soprano family and becomes a made guy. How that be?

I like how now one cares about the male nudity, but they have a chance to do something truly special with the next Red Dead....a close up of a large veiny cock..slowly swaying in 60 FPS...the balls would be covered in the same high quality hair as Landon Ricketts mustache...it would make that little glimpse we got in the DLC of GTA4 seem like a trip to grandmas house....Lens of Truth could do a side by side between the Ps3 and Xbox to see which system has the biggest dick....it would be epic..

Jet packs, helicopters, speed boats, fighter jets, grappling hooks, rocket launchers...

Oh wait, I was thinking of a fun game that already had all that and more.

Nobody's judging you. If you want throbbing veiny cock in your game that's your perogative. [Jerry Seinfeld]Not that there's anything wrong with that.[/Jerry Seinfeld]

On a serious note, there doesn't need to be another Red Dead game. I'm down for just pumping out DLC for what already exists.

re: Red Dead Redemption 2 —> 10/26/18

i wanted to revive this to ask 2 questions:

1. any talk or anything about a sequel for current gen consoles?
2. any talk or anything about a Definitive edition of the original for current gen consoles?

i would love to revisit this with all the DLC for the One, as well as, have a successor, even spiritual, with another story in the western genre. very underappreciated imo.

re: Red Dead Redemption 2 —> 10/26/18

Oh hell, I thought with the thread bump there was actual news about a new installment.

Apparently a sequel is/was in the works, along with a "definitive version" of Redemption for XBO, PS4 and PC: http://www.kdramastars.com/articles/...one-and-pc.htm

But as you can see, there has been a delay. I would assume they won't release the remaster of Redemption until the sequel is close to being ready.

BTW, I hope the eventual title isn't RD Redemption 2. They started with Red Dead Revolver, so the next game should be Red Dead followed by another R word, like Red Dead Revelations or something.

I try not to buy too many last gen games for the current gen, because I think it's a poor trend, but I would be all in for a remastered RDR with all bonus content for say, $30-$40. Heck, maybe even $50.

I'm not much of a multiplayer gamer but this game made me become one. I enjoyed the heck of this game. I would love a follow up of this game.

RDR was pretty much my favorite previous-generation game. Everything about it was just beautiful, immersive, entertaining, affecting, and fun. I would so buy a "remastered" version in a heartbeat.
